This is an auction for a garage find 1974 Jaguar XKE in primrose yellow. The roadster is equipped with the 5.3L V12, automatic transmission, air conditioning, and original Stromberg carburetors. The odometer shows 36,185 miles. Over the past two years $20,000 has been spent on maintenance. See full list of the work below. The car has a transmission fluid leak (spots when sitting) and, as per the mechanic who has done most of the work on the Jag, the right cylinder head valve seat is loose. The body, frame, rockers, fenders, and the floors are solid. The bonnet, trunk, and doors close easily and fit tight. The car has had one repaint in the late 1980s in the original primrose yellow color. There are some hairline cracks in the paint on the front passenger fender. The soft top is in good shape and is free of any rips or tears. The black leather seats, dash, and carpets are all very good too.
