Vehicle Detail
All original 1970 Plymouth Satellite. Three owner car. First two owners were elderly woman. vehicle was purchased new from Garden State Chrysler/Plymouth located in Collingswood NJ, and spent it's entire life just a few miles from the dealership. The second owner recently passed away, and her son decided to sell the vehicle. It had been stored since the early 90's in the owner's garage, but problems with the garage roof forced the vehicle under a cover in the driveway. The car appears to have had some minor body work on the passenger side, but looks to be 90% original paint. Frame rails, rocker panels, floors, and inner fender wells are all solid. Minor rotting at the lower rear windshield, and lower rear quarter panels. Car will need trunk pan, but over all very solid Mopar B body. One of the most original, unrestored Mopars I've seen. Car runs, drives, shifts, stops, and steers perfect! Everything works down to the "Key in buzzer" All lights, and electronics work, with exception of the temp gauge, and fuel gauge. Car is a factory radio delete, and even has the original rubber floor mats. Heat, and defrost work great. Car still retains all it's original factory paint marks, and chalk marks. The original build sheet was located under the rear seat, and the original "starting Instructions" tag was located under the front seat. Both are included with the sale. The original fender tag, and factory under hood decals are still in good condition, and would make for good reference on any future restorations of other B bodies. Only work done was a recent tune up, and carburetor rebuild. (Manuel choke was installed) Ashtray appears to had never been used. Grille, lenses, hard plastics, and trims are all very nice. Chrome is fading, but no rot. No evidence of accident damage. Original jack, spare tire, and factory stamped trunk mat still in the car. This car would be a perfect candidate for a "Survivor" class, or "Barn Find" or a perfect start to a Superbird, Roadrunner, or GTX tribute. Spring is coming, don't let this one get away! I've seen some rotted, non running junkers sell for some strong money. This car is reserved very reasonably. How many are original, unmolested, Solid and in great running condition? The car is for sale locally, and I reserve the right to end the auction early. The car might be at the Cow Town Rodeo on 03/22/15 located in Salem County NJ ( weather permitting) and if the reserve price is not met, the car will be at the All Chrysler Nationals in Carlisle PA on 07/11/15 Please ask all questions before bidding. My schedule is limited, so serious buyers only. NO TIRE KICKERS! NO DELIVERY, CAR IS SOLD "AS IS, WHERE IS" WITH NO GUARANTEE DUE TO IT'S AGE, AND CONDITION. THIS ITEM HAS BEEN DESCRIBED TO THE BEST OF MY KNOWLEDGE BUYER RESPONIBLE FOR PICK UP. NO PAYPAL. CASH IN PERSON ONLY. ANY PAYPAL PAYMENT WILL BE RETURNED BIDDERS WITH NO, OR NEGATIVE FEEDBACK WILL BE REJECTED THANKS FOR LOOKING! GOOD LUCK!
