1998 Porsche boxster 5speed manual for sale. Black on black. this car was bought from BMW dealership in richmond a few yrs ago for 18,900 dollars. the car only has 74,330 miles on it. Has fresh inspection. It was originally red but I like black on porsches better so i had it painted. Paint is an ok job. not pebble beach. Has new stainless steel exhaust .. four new 02 sensors and new brakes all the way around. . I recently put almost 4 grand into the car in parts and 3,000 dollars in labor. the rims are also professionally powder coated blk but a few scuffs. the car runs perfect and sounds awesome. the car is tight has no leaks and RUNS perfect. It has just had the full 60,000 mile service done at Lufteknic and i have all paperwork. Also replaced all chain tensioners replaced about 1 yr ago. In maintanance alone i put $7,778.00 in labor and parts The car is TIGHT and should be good to go for long time. the check engine light comes on because the O2 sensors are not bosche.. All the info on the car can be checked at Lufteknic Porsche service place in RIchond va... and yes they are the best Porsche place around. I also just put 4 new tires on it all the way around not that long ago. maybe have 5,000 miles on tires. car Runs great. the interior is great except the seats are weather cracked.. and the passenger seat has rip. the seats should be reupholstered with some nice seat covers. The rims have some scuffs on them. The convertable top is stuck up and needs to be addressed. the motor works but something is catching and i have not had it fixed. the top is in fair contion being its a 98. Brakes feel good.. clutch feels good. Car feels really tight. This is not a car that has been beat . Boxsters do not have a high book value so i feel the car is worth way more than they go for . I have a new car and dont really need two which is why im going to let it go for the right price. email me any questions you might have. CAR is sold as IS.
