I will try to put up more photos · Lots of new parts · Custom interior · Very clean example · New Air Conditioner · Floor, headliner, and bulkhead have been insulated with fatmat · Seats 9 people This defender is very clean and has been repainted to a good standard by the previous owner in gloss black, The interior has been retrimmed to a high standard similar to Exmoor trim. The following work has been completed; Engine 1. Oil and filter2. Plugs and leads, 3. Dist Cap, 4. New fuel tank, 5. Carbs rebuilt. 6. New Starter motor7. New fuel pump8. New shocks and springs The Engine The 3.5 v8 is a very good engine in these defenders and will happily sit at 80mph. It will start first time on the key every time with a little choke. The Transmission It has the standard LT77 transmission for defender, it shifts between all gears no problems without any noises or rattles etc, the 4low and diff locks work on the transfer case as they should. The Body The body on these defenders is aluminum so they don't rust, they normally start to flake the paint. This won't be an issue on this defender as it has had a full respray and looks stunning in gloss black. the bulkhead and door bottoms are all in very good condition and very solid. The Chassis The chassis is the original chassis and in very good condition, both it's vin tags are still clearly visible and untouched, it's been coated in a rust stop coating to prolong it's life. The seats and door cards have been retrimmed to a high standard in very nice material. In addition, a new headliner has been installed. Puma dash installed! Customs, title and delivery The vehicle is in Austin, Texas. It has passed all DOT EPA DMV tests and inspections and is 100% legal here in the USA. All necessary paperwork will be given to buyer, ready for him/her to go to the dmv and get issued a title.
