On the block is my incredibly clean, low mileage 2004 Tacoma XtraCab. This truck is a fully factory optioned SR5 with 5 speed manual shift, 4 wheel drive,electronic shift-on-the-fly transfer case and auto-locking hubs, locking rear differential, clutch start cancel, power windows and mirrors, keyless remote unlocking and alarm, cruise control, air conditioning, tilt wheel, full gauge package, reclining bucket seats with fold down seating behind, factory tow hitch and wiring, sliding rear glass and pop-out rear quarter windows, factory AM/FM/Cassette/Single CD stereo with 6 speakers, and digital clock. You would probably search long and hard to find another example of this sought-after vehicle in this kind of original condition. Always adult-owned, it has never been modified, off-roaded, smoked in or used as a work vehicle. The only non-stock items on the truck are a pair of PIAA 1100x driving lights; an auto-darkening rear-view mirror with compass, outside temperature, and map lights; and the black steel wheels with snow tires that were just purchased last fall and have less than 2000 miles on them. The original factory alloy wheels are included (no tires) and are totally straight and ding-free. They do have some minor staining but any good wheel shop can restore them back to like new condition very easily. The truck also has a spray-in bed liner AND a full coverage BedRug brand padded carpet bed liner. The bed itself is totally straight. Finally there is a perfectly color matched Ranger brand topper with sliding side and front windows. It is likewise spotless. This truck belonged to my father for most of its life until I bought it from him 2 years ago. It was sold and lived in Western Washington where it was continually garaged. Since I brought it here to NE California it has also been garaged. He didn't like his trucks with unnecessary adornment, so he had the dealer remove all the exterior badges. It has no damage history, open recalls, or any issues with the clean California title. The truck has always been scrupulously maintained, and had its last service at the end of October, less than 2000 miles ago. Since I have had the truck I replaced the shock absorbers on all four corners, and had the rack and pinion steering bushings replaced (common issue with this vehicle.) Otherwise just normal maintenance. The truck has absolutely no mechanical issues whatsoever. Cosmetically it is almost perfect - the always non-smoking interior looks like new, with the exception of a few small boot scuffs on the lower parts of the door panels. Seats, carpets, dashboard, steering wheel, you name it - it's hard to believe this truck is 11 years old. The exterior has a few minor flaws (see the last photos): Some small rock chips on the tiny trim pieces under the headlights (this area seems really prone to chipping on the Tacoma); likewise a few stone chips on the pillar next to the windshield; a small area (less than 2") of missing paint at the leading edge of the right front fender; some very small chips under the doors on both sides from people getting in and out of the truck; and a small scratch at the left rear from removing the camper shell. Finally both the front and rear bumpers have one small crease each from parking, these are too small to photograph. Included with the truck are both sets of factory keys with remote fobs, and all factory manuals and tools. I will happily pick up the winning bidder at the Reno International Airport (85 miles from Susanville.)
