Vehicle Detail
Hello, You are looking at a 1975 Suzuki Fury Snowmobile with the original 440 F/A Suzuki motor and twin pipes. The motor has excellent compression. I purchased this from a guy about 3 years ago. I did a good paint job on the skis, fuel tank, and exhaust. I also put a new Atwood seat cover on it. New fuel gauge, belt, etc. All the lights, speedometer, and tach work. The track and suspension are in good condition. The suspension still springs, it is not stuck. Slides are good, and I believe the track is original, but in pretty darn good shape for how old it is. Sled has 1,929 original miles on it. It is a little cold blooded, but runs great once warmed up and is pretty fast for the year. The Suzuki Fury is the sled that led Arctic Cat to use the Suzuki motors in their sleds. It is pretty much an El Tigre in a Fury skin and a Suzuki heart. It has 60hp, more hp that the consumer El Tigre in that year. This was the best sled that had the Suzuki name attached to it. One foot pad grip is missing a piece as pic shows. The one footrest aluminum has a small dent and crack, also as seen in pic, it could easily be fixed. It does make the hood fit a little tighter, but I never bothered with it because the hood still shuts fine. The grill has a few cracks in it around the edge as seen in pic. Also seen in pic is a hole in the belly pan near the track. One of the pics show me pointing at a connection plug where one of the wires sometimes does not make a connection. I know this because the tach quit working on me and I moved that wire and it came back on. Other than that I drive this about 3 times a year around my yard, along with some of my other vintage sleds. The few things I told you that were wrong with the sled are all minor and do not affect the sled in any way, I just wanted you to know that it is a partially restored Fury and not fully restored. Has great potential for an easy full resto. or could be taken to shows as is and would do well! Like I said, it runs strong and is fast. Nice collector. Sled has current collector registration. Also comes with the original owner's manual, service manual, Suzuki Apparel & Accessories brochure, and a Suzuki Fury 440 specs poster. If you have any ?'s feel free to email me, or if you would rather talk in person over the phone, you can email me your phone # and I will gladly call you. Thank you!
