1956 Chevrolet Big window , shortbed pickup . 3100 Task force , original V8 truck built and stayed in Los Angeles . Rebuilt high performance 350 , I was told by previous owner from a 69 Vette , I decoded it and it seems to make sense . Rebuilt 400 transmission , 12 bolt rearend . Monte carlo front clip , power steering , front disc brakes . Runs and drives great , stays cool with aluminum radiator . Low but rides nice and doesn't bottom out or scrape !!! Brand new clipster headers just installed for maximum ground clearance . Working A./C , serpentine belt , electric fan and water pump . Lokar shifter . New shocks . Goes and stops straight , rides nice , shifts strong . Sounds angry as hell !!! Body was straight and nearly rust free , just had a professional shop prep and paint it satin black inside and out , looks great , wipes right off . Body wouldn't take much to paint shiny if you wanted to , gets stares and compliments like crazy like this . Looks like somebody did a little work on the lower hinge pockets years ago , comes with replacement pieces if you want to change them . Doors and hood shut great , super solid . Floor totally solid . It was painted with the bed off the frame . Brand new windshield , front and back rubber , GRILLE On Feb-15-15 at 18:47:18 PST, seller added the following information: DOOR HANDLES . Brand new chrome 18" and 20" wheels and tires . New black carpet and shift boot . Mint original 90 Silverado seat . I'm just under 6 feet tall and weigh 240 , I fit very comfortably . If you are a 7 ' tall gorilla you could move the gas tank under the bed and install a shorter column drop and you would have room to spare . Very nice 1" thick rubber bed mat over good original bedwood and strips . Throw a bike or swapmeet stuff in the bed and don't worry . Clear and current Ca. title and registration in my name . I require full payment by bank transfer within 3 days . Sold as is , inspect and ask any and all questions before placing a bid .
