For sale is my 2004 Acura TL. I bought this car about 6 years ago from a friend and have had it ever since. I bought a new truck, needed for some work I do, so I have not been able to drive this car much in the last year. Rather than let it sit, I figured it was time to sell. The good - This vehicle comes with a Route 66 extended service warranty that I purchased back in 2013 for it. The warranty expires at 168,000 miles or 01/25/2014. So while this car has high miles, if you purchase it and something happens to go wrong mechanically, this warranty will cover it. When I purchased the warranty, I was told it was transferable. I would have to look into how it is transferred. The car cranks first time every time and runs well. It's strong. Has no issues picking up speed or passing someone on the open road. Brakes and tires were put on this vehicle less than 5,000 miles ago. So both are in great condition. I believe the battery is about 2 years old. The car is dependable. It's never left me stranded. I would have no issues taking it on a long trip. The bad - It does have 164,100 miles. It's hard to expect a vehicle with that many miles to be in perfect condition. What I know that is wrong are the following: Cruise control works but button on steering wheel won't stay pressed all the time. When it depresses, the cruise shuts off. Sometimes it works, sometimes not. Missing cosmetic pieces on back doors as can be seen in pics. These are probably only a few dollars. A couple tears in the front passenger seat that I have sewed back closed. Some cracking in the dash. There is a company that makes a piece that goes over the dash for a little over $100 that looks awesome...almost like it was meant to be that way. When driving it last month, someone threw a rock on the windshield. So it cracked. Will need to be replaced by the buyer. Some stains in the seats and floor boards. As mentioned, I got this from a friend. He had 4 kids and they spilled things. I cleaned it up as best I can. Several scratches, door dings, and rock dings on the car as shown in most pics. Some oxidation on the hood and above windshield mostly. It never bothered me, but someone looking for a new looking car, should look elsewhere. One of the door lock/unlock buttons does not work. I had transmission issues a little over a year ago and had the transmission replaced using the route 66 warranty. The transmission was either a 2 or 3 year warranty, I forget which, but the remainder of the warranty would still cover any repairs if any were necessary. Feel free to ask any questions.
