WRECKED / TOTALED (FOR PARTS -- AS-IS -- NO WARRANTY) - 2011 Cadillac CTS V Sedan 4-Door 6.2L I bought this car new in June 2011. MSRP was $72k. It has an airaid CAI, injectors, pullies and a tune by G-Force Motorsports of Pearland, TX and makes approximately 570rwhp. I drove this car to work daily and it has approximately 46k miles on it. Original options: Recaro seats ($3400), Ultraview Sunroof ($1150), 19" Polished Wheels ($800) - painted those black, Midnight Sapele Wood Trim ($600), Suede Steering Wheel and Shifter ($300). This car was involved in a major side impact accident on 12/18/2014. It was "totaled" by insurance approximately one week ago and I bought it back from them as part of the settlement. I posted this information on facebook approximately one week ago and had about 25 offers to buy the whole car, the drivetrain and various parts (e.g. one guy offered $500 for just the brake calipers and he'd remove them himself.....the injectors on the car are $900, I've had offers for the suede stuff, the nav, the Recaros {even the probably ruined driver side}, the wheels {even busted ones}, the rear end, suspension pieces, the Airaid CAI, trim pieces, sunroof gaskets and obviously: THE DRIVETRAIN........there are many valuable pieces). I will not be removing anything from this car, so that your purchase price is really the drivetrain and the rest is your bonus for messing with it / taking stuff apart and dealing with parting out. If there is anything missing, it fell off in the accident and is obviously not included. A local man came over and offered me $9k one week ago (this was his "non-running offer" because I couldn't get it in park to get it started). Today, 2/1/2015, I jacked the car up and found that the exhaust is pinched, the transmission mount is broken on the passenger side and the shifter linkage was bound against the body. Engine up top and transmission and oil pan underneath all seem fine otherwise. Moved the linkage and got the car in park and it started right up and ran for 10 seconds until I turned it off (wife witnessed). I turned it off within 10 seconds so that I could prepare a video camera without worrying whether the cooling system is ok or not. Apparently, I turned the ignition to the off position and now I cannot turn it forward again (even after messing with the steering wheel, etc.). I am tired of messing with this car and will not discount it for "you not hearing it run". It runs - I just saw / heard it run 30 minutes ago. It was a side impact. Pay market value if you want this car. If you want a major discount, please quit reading and do not buy this car. Thanks. I have said in this ad that the car has a clear title. This is because it does right now. Should it? I don't know. All I know is I bought and paid for this car, received the title years ago, wrecked the car recently and the title never left my possession. Therefore it does not say salvage title on the blue piece of paper right now. I have been told that maybe when the new owner tries to register this VIN, it will come up as a salvage title since insurance paid out as a "total loss". I don't care about this and it's your issue to deal with / your risk to assume, not mine. No warranty. Selling as-is. I cannot list everything broken on this car. You are responsible for picking this car up with a tow truck / trailer. It's not drivable.
