Welcome. Up for sale is a 2006 Chrysler 300C SRT-8. This high performance, 425 horsepower, luxury, four door sedan has very low mileage for the year at only 85K. Overall, the condition, cosmetically and mechanically, is fair. If you are seeking a flawless example needing no work to be show ready, this is not the one for you. If you are seeking a 300 SRT that needs some TLC, and save thousands fixing it (mainly wear items) yourself, this is the perfect one for you! In addition, we have been upfront in what our ASE/Chrysler certified technician deemed it needs, so please read the entire item description for all details of the pros and cons of this four door rocket. This 300 was a local trade to us, and is not a "hammered auction car" that we are trying to unload. Inspection/Warranty: It has a current PA state inspection until June of 2015, but we have disclosed below what it will need to pass PA state inspection again in June. Furthermore, we will not be held liable in any way for any such repairs or non-conformity. 1. Needs front and rear rotors and pads
2. Front fog lights inoperable
3. Needs four tires (275/40 R20)
4. Left outer tie rod end needs replaced. May require other front suspension work.
5. Windshield cracked on passenger's side, does not inhibit driver's line of sight.

7. K&N air filter needs cleaned
8. Leaking windshield washer fluid
9. Wear detected to steering components.
Value: This 300C SRT-8, as equipped, has a NADA retail value of $16,600~ and a KBB retail value of $16,768~, making our buy it now an outright bargain for a mechanically savvy car enthusiast. As you will note, not many seller are willing to let their 300C SRT-8 go for anywhere near this number, and they are selling theirs' as-is. Or, make us an offer...you never know, we may say yes! As you fellow car enthusiasts know, this is a not a car you see everyday; in fact, they are quite rare.
Mechanical: I personally took this 300C SRT-8 on a 20 minute test drive. It ran strong, did not overheat, and shifted well through all gears. I drove it at light, moderate, and full throttle, and the car performed well in all driving situations. As you'd expect from a 425 horsepower 6.1 liter HEMI V8, it moves with authority and sounds quite nice with a deep, throaty exhaust tone. 0-60 times are very impressive for a large, luxury/performance car at 5 seconds flat.
As the list of needed repairs indicates, I was careful to leave extra time stopping on my test drive, as the rotors and pads need replaced. The car did stop in adequate time though, but please do not expect it to stop as new with worn brakes. Also, please be aware that if you elect to drive the car rather than trailer it, it is solely at your risk, as we have been upfront in the needed repairs and cannot guarantee the current driveability/safety of the car, especially on a long trip.
Exterior: The body is mostly straight and clean, especially for a 2006. The main areas of wear are, as expected, to the front and rear bumper skins, particulary the front lower sections. I would recommend repainting both or leave them as-is...the choice is yours. Please remember that this is a used model year 2006, so please do not expect it to be perfect. This car does show average, to slightly above average, wear for its' age.
Interior: As with the exterior, the interior shows moderate wear, as expected with a nearly ten year old car. There is some scratching on the plastic. I did not note any rips or damage to the leather seats. There is some cracking and discoloring to be expected from age and use. A fresh cleaning with proper leather cleaner would do them good. The floor mats could use a good cleaning/scrubbing as well. I tried all power equipment, windows, locks, seats, moonroof etc., and all works well as of now, but any needed work to such equipment is not covered in any way and will fully be the buyer's responsibility.

Miscellaneous: We only have one fob/key for this 300. All books, navigation manual etc. are present.
Pros: Low mileage. Crazy powerful 6.1 liter HEMI V8 engine. A real "sleeper."
Cons: Please be aware that this 300 needs repairs as indicated earlier in the listing.
