Up for auction is this 2007 Single Owner Volkswagon Rabbit 2.5 Liter 6-Speed Tiptronic Auto Transmission. Fully original California Car Please see below for all details of this car. The Good: Car has brand new brakes/pads at a cost of $600.00 This car is in very nice condition inside and out. Interior is a very nice Anthracite cloth interior. The exterior is very nice with excellent paint. It could use a nice detail and waxing. The bumpers have a few scrapes/scratches from city use. There is a small ding on the passenger side front panel that should easily be popped out. There are a few marks and scrapes around the car but it looks great from a distance and the paint is very nice black just in need of a nice wax. All electronics including in dash cd changer, AC, cruise control, power windows/locks and electronic sunroof work perfectly. All lights are properly operational. Car was purchased new and has lived its entire life in California. One title change from husband to wife. Clear California title. Car has had no accidents/collisions. The Bad: The cars engine light came on and has been inspected by two separate garages. There is cylinder misfire and the cylinder head must be torn down to continue diagnosis. The general prognosis was that the engine needs at least a partial rebuild costing about $2,000 or more dollars. The car starts perfectly and sounds fine but after driving a few miles starts to slip as it changes gears/speed. Without significant engine work the car is absolutely not recommended to be driven. Basically anything further than down the street would be bad. That being said, the car has brand New brakes but we are unable to assume the costs of repairing the engine so here it is for sale!
