Vehicle Detail

up for your consideration is a 1938 packard henney hearse conversion roller.it does not have an engine, transmission, or interior. it does appear to have the original rear axle and steering. the actual mileage is unknown.when i purchased this vehicle a while back, it was already a project car, basically only a body and chassis.it appeared that the person before me planned on turning the vehicle into a hot rod suv, which was my plan at the time as well, so all was good.unfortunately, for reasons that you can probably guess, the project stalled at this point.fast forward several years. i had the great idea of putting the body onto a 4x4 truck frame.the resulting vehicle would now be a rat rod suv monster truck sorta thing.of course i bought a truck and removed its body. i then took the grill, hood, fenders, and running boardsoff the packard and put the body on the truck frame.can you guess what happened next?yup, the project once again stalled. why? well, among other things, i realized that once the project was done, i would have a 38 packard frame with no purpose taking up needed space.i doubted it would be sellable, and i wouldn't have the heart to crush it.so i took the packard main body and put it back on the original chassis, and got rid of the truck frame.and that, my friends, is where she sits.the first picture is how the packard looked when purchased.the rest are current day.i do not plan to put all the body panels back on (same reasons as above), but they are included and will all fit inside if necessary.i mean this is a very large, suicide door havin' bad ass ride!it just needs the right person to apply the right amount of love and effort.please feel free to ask any questions you may have .the winning bidder will have to arrange their own shipping, but i will be glad to assist in any way i can.the winning bidder will be required to put down a non-refundable deposit of $1000.00 within 24 hours of auction end.thanks for looking.
