2004 Land Rover Discovery Mechanic Special, Repairable, Listed is a 2004 land Rover Discovery. Loaded, great miles for the year, always well cared for, 4X4, great history report. This Vehicle DOES NOT run. I was using this SUV as an everyday driver. One day I pulled in to a parking lot and when I went to leave it refused to start. I have NO idea why. I am in no way a mechanic. I have been told it could be a cam shaft sensor, a crank sensor, a timing chain, and well you can get my point. I sure not going to take it apart and start guessing what to buy I don't think Des Moines has a Land Rover dealership anymore not to mention a GOOD reliable HONEST mechanic to work on it, my decision is to just sell it as is. Look the pictures over and you will see it really is a nice, lower mile vehicle that will take some work to get it running. So AGAIN this is a NON RUNNING vehicle. This is a NO RESERVE auction. I have no intention on fixing the car no matter how simple or hard it is to repair. It has been a very good vehicle and never let me down until now. I already purchased a new vehicle so the SUV is just sitting. I have a free and clear title for the Land Rover. I don't like using the old saying my loss is your gain but it pretty much fits this situation since I paid a premium for the car when I purchased it. Please remember you will need to trailer the vehicle. Yes, I can and will help if needed and there is no big hurry to get it picked up. Please have the vehicle paid for in 7 days after the auctions end or I will have to relist with a non-payer claim. Thanks for looking and good luck!! Vehicle does have a CLEAN CarFax report with No accidents. Just needs a good mechanic to get it back on the road.
