This snazzy cayenne red mica painted Saab was donated to our small non-profit organization by its previous owner, for our use. It was not smoked in while in our possession, but I do not have smoking information from prior owners. I was able to find good service records at a Saab dealership in Hagerstown, MD, where it was originally purchased. It had 114,000 miles on it when we got it, and we used it lightly (and with great pleasure!) until after repairs (for running rough) including new spark plugs, valve cover gaskets, upper intake gasket and valve cover bolt seals, a mechanic advised it needed ignition cassettes and some work on its turbocharger. (This mechanic actually said it needed a new turbocharger, but previous owner then advised that it had just gotten a new turbocharger, so there is a difference of opinion on the turbocharger. I have scanned and attached this last repair ticket below, and I suggest you check repair records at the dealership using the VIN#.) We parked it (at 117,951 miles) to do some fundraising for the repairs. In the meantime its key was destroyed in a small kitchen fire at the Center. SO WE DO NOT HAVE A KEY FOR THIS CAR!!! I have been told that without the key or the fob the car would need a new ignition "TWICE" module, married to a new key at a dealership, a complex but not impossible repair. So this is a repairable near-luxury car, or great parts car, which has now been sitting for 7 years. Among the Owner's Manual and other paperwork in the glove box (it's a refrigerated glove box... so, now that you know that, you REALLY MUST make an offer!!!) I found the original window sticker, with all the loaded features and extras listed. A picture of it is at the end of the batch of pictures. You will need to bring a small size tow-truck to pick up this car in Knoxville, MD 21758 (across the river and very near to Harper's Ferry, WV.) I am specifying a small tow truck because of the very small space for maneuvering between the house and the retaining wall where the car is parked. Deposit is through PayPal. Payment must be received within 2 days of the end of the auction. Title will be provided at pick-up, and upon completed payment. A INFORMATION ABOUT FLUID LEAKS There are several flulds used in your automobile ,examples: engine oil, coolant steering oil, transmission oil, final drive oil, brake fluid, washer fluid, shock absorber fluid etc. Care was taken to correct present leaks and cleaning was performed, however even with such care other leaks may be present and may show up later. Please bring car back in 500 miles for a no charge recheck. A NOT E ... CHECK ENGINE LIGHT(s) coming on may indicate that there is a problem(s) with the Engine and or Transmission Controls.
