Vehicle Detail
I am the second owner of this beautiful 1970 Chevelle. I bought it from the family of the original owner in 2000, and, in approximately 2006, fully resto-modded the car. For the most part, everything is factory GM, but it was originally gold on gold, so I went with Lemans Blue and Black. Since 2006, it unfortunately got a very small ding in the quarter panel (pictured) and developed some bubbles around the back window (also pictured). The rest of the car is rock solid. Absolutely no rust in the floors, fenders, or quarters, all of which are original to the car. Some specifics of the car are as follows: - Power Steering - Power Disc Brakes - TH-350 (rebuilt approximately 5000 miles ago) - 350 bored .60 over - complete rebuild approximately 5000 miles ago - Edelbrock Performer RPM heads and intake; nearly brand new Holley Street Avenger carb - 12 bolt positraction rear end - completely rebuilt approximately 5000 miles ago - All suspension/body mounts have been replaced with polygraphite (5000 miles ago) Basically, the car is ready to be driven. I never got to as much as I would have liked, but make my loss your gain! It does have a driver's side mirror, I just haven't taken any fresh pictures in a while. In addition to the very strong running car that is essentially ready to drive anywhere, I WILL INCLUDE THE FOLLOWING PARTS that I acquired over the years but never got to install: - Freshly rebuilt M20 (1974 date range) with competition plus shifter and brand new linkage kit- New reproduction SS dash- New Vintage USA gauge set for SS dash- Center Console/Shifter for auto trans- Set of 69-72 bucket seats that need re-covering- Set of 68 bucket seats that need re-covering- Lakewood scattersheield- NEW center force clutch and pressure plate- Brass Pilot bushing- Hurst Competition Plus Shifter- ORGINAL GM pedals and Clutch linkage- Reproduction pedals and clutch linkage kit- Tilt, floor shift steering column- Reproduction SS Hood- Factory A/C unit (controllers, duct work, condenser, hoses, evaporator housing, etc) that was in working order when removed from a 1971 Chevelle in 2013- Firewall section from A/C car necessary for installation of factory air. If you know these cars, you know that the above list is several thousand dollars in parts, and would take months to even locate. Since I don't need them if the car sells, they're yours. It's likely I have other stuff I have forgotten about, so feel free to ask. If I have it and it's for the Chevelle, it's included in the auction. PLEASE DO NOT HESITATE TO ASK ANY QUESTIONS - I'm 100 percent transparent, so ask away and I'll try to answer. $500 deposit due within 24 hours of winning bid with balance due in 5 days unless we make other arrangements. Buyer responsible for all shipping on car and parts. If you're not driving, you will need to check with transport company on whether they will haul parts and car together. On Jan-25-15 at 09:41:37 PST, seller added the following information: I neglected to list the following extra parts that will also be included: 1. Set of factory rally wheels (2 15x7 and 2 15x8)2. Factory bumper - needs to be rechromed, but straight and has factory SS pad and tail lights in tact3. Spare trunk lid removed from 1971 Monte Carlo. I will post more pictures soon, so please ask if there is anything you'd like to see more detail on. The car was posted late last year, and I thought it was sold, but potential buyer didn't come through.
