1969 Honda CB

This is a Honda CB750 project bike. It has most of the major components: Engine, three pipes, gas tank, etc. The motor and the engine are 69 definitely because they match the year codes. The engine turns over without any trouble. The gas tank is rust free and the three pipes are in great shape, but do have a couple of small dings. The pipes are not corroded where they usually corrode. There is one spot on one of the muffler that has a tiny rust hole. Where the valve covers are, the frame has been cut because the cover was removed at one time. It is a common procedure with CB, but only two small pipes needs to be welded back on. This bike has no title so proof of sale will be needed to obtain a title. There has been many questions about the vin number looking different. CB 750 had a problem with the chain breaking and Honda would re-stamp the bike when it was repaired under warranty. This bike is one of the most important bikes in motorcycle history, and should go to someone passionate about restoring it. The bike is what it is and if interested make bid.
