Vehicle Detail
This machine is GREAT. I know that you already know about these things if you're looking at this auction. This thing is an actual barn find. I've only owned it a few months. Original owner said it only has about 30 or 40 hours total on it. Back when he got it they banned these from the trails because of the bad rep they got back then (so he had stop riding it because he had no where to ride it), and it sat in the barn most of it's life, until 2 years ago when the barn started falling apart and it was brought back to life. It recently has had the calipers replaced with new ones and new fluid of course. I believe a carb clean was also done. I have wheelied it briefly in my yard for fun. Probably not nearly as high as it seemed to me and pretty briefly. That was my way of testing how clean the carb is. lol Only did that once. Now that i've got a 250sx i've been riding that mostly, other than to ride the 350x occasionally just to keep it healthy and exercised. I've been having a lot of fun with it, not railing it but just riding around the yard in first and second gear, you can ride it how you want to ride it but I ride it keeping in mind that it's a classic. The pictures don't' really show too well but there are a couple of dents in the tank where the original owner hit his knee (he said it hurt like heck, well yea i guess so LOL) I was planning on finding a mint tank to put on it but they run like $250 $450 for a mint one so that'll wait. The one on there looks good inside and I haven't had any problems with fuel or anything. Just kill switch on, move the choke forward, press the kick starter down to the bottom to release compression, and kick.. and it starts within 2 kicks when cold. 1 kick when it's warm of course, with the choke off. The original owner is a very mature, intelligent man, full head of silver hair i think he must be in his 50's or 60's, and i believe he works in the defense department. Seems pretty responsible. Anyway, back to the bike, I just ride it around on my acre of land and its FUN. I would love to keep it but I could use the money right now and I still have it's little brother the 250sx so I'll be okay, until I find an abused, less original one that I won't covet so much lol. It starts up pretty easily (so long as i remember to put the run switch in the middle lol) , runs well, and is pretty reliable. Honda made a great 3 wheeler with these things. I know you'll love this thing, because I know I do. I love how it turns tighter than a 4 wheeler too. Oh and I have a clear Maryland Title in my name. This machine is valuable and it's great to have a title to prove ownership should you ever need to. Just full disclosure, the plastics have superficial scratches, if you look closely in the pics you'll see them. Luckily i don't think the stickers have any damage (I hate that). Gas tank is functional but has small dents and I'd want to replace it just like i'd want to replace a dented fender on a classic automobile. Not that i notice the dents much or that it bothers me, i usually forget about them and don't see them because i'm too busy enjoying the ride and the look and originality of the trike overall.. but I just want to mention it so no one will feel like they are getting something that i didn't fully describe to the best of my abilities. It doesn't smoke. It doesn't leak. It starts within 2 kicks when cold. I had 100 people watching it the first time i listed it and it went for $2900. (the most watchers I've ever had for any eBay auction!) Relisted due to a jerk non paying bidder. He now has a non payment strike against him for that. Good luck. I'm excited for you and the ATC. I want it to go to a good home where someone will turn it into a 4 or 5 thousand dollar super clean collector machine. I hope a good match up happens. Thank you for visiting my auction.
