Vehicle Detail
...kind of a neat bonus that the cover car for the '77 sales brochure is so similar... Gorgeous Rare Peru Red California Midyear 911S. COA matching numbers (motor #6270633 / trans #170790 / paint #042). Sold new at Alan Johnson Porsche-Audi in San Diego California on 10/18/1976. California car since new. Amazing original condition factory sport seats (varified on the COA). No A/C and never had it, so no cut up bulk head, over plumbed, obtrusive, heavy, clunky, poor functioning, underdash cramping mess. No power windows and no sunroof, just a sleek, lightweight example complimented further with it's race inspired sport seats (rare combination to have sport seats in a car without power options, a/c and sunroof). Factory front and rear sway bars. Factory black anodized (now faded) window trim and color coded headlight rings option (verified on the COA) (again, another rare, race car livery inspired option for a 77). Remarkable interior with excellent original silvernit carpet and crack, warp free dash, validating it's light, easy, well cared for life. Original owners manual, maintenance book, toolkit, correct date spare tire, jack, and sport leather steering wheel (verified on the COA) all included. Runs fantastic with updated headers and original thermal reactors included (functioning CA smog pump still on car), passes CA smog with ease. Shifts swift and precise with no grinding, fussy downshifts or popping out of gear, good syncros and bushings. Everything works on the car as it should without exception. No excessive oil leaks (if any to the ground) or usage. No rust, no corrosion, no battery acid damage, no accident evidence, ...nothing. Repainted once in it's correct single stage Peru Red paint code #042 about 10 years ago with left over paint included (included paint is still in good usable condition and was used for touch up on the hood and roof prior to this sale), door jams, motor compartment and trunk are all original still. PPI welcomed and encouraged. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Auction is subject to premature sale, however as long as auction is still in progress, car is still available. DRD MOTOR TRADE owns this beautiful 911S outright (as is true of any of my offerings) and not selling for a 3rd party. I am a licensed, bonded Ca dealer (beware of non-licensed car sellers 'jumping title' as no recourse can be had should the title get lost, or the car never show up, let alone many other online frauds). Shipping can be cheaper than the uship ebay quotes on the shipping tab (above) when you contact the shippers directly and avoid the uship broker mark up. ---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- 131 detailed pictures here: http://s761.photobucket.com/user/car-reras/library/peru Below are just a few highlights in very random order, enjoy.
