Vehicle Detail
For sale is a stunning 1957 Chevy Fully Customized Resto Mod. Don't pay 100K + Just to see yourself on Speed vision at Barret Jackson! SAVE 10's of thousands and buy a car just as nice right here!! Unlike most of my cars, I did not build this one. I was at the Good Guys show and could not leave without buying this car. Unfortunately, due to family medical reasons I am forced to sell this car in order to purchase a home near me for my Mother. This car is absolutely beautiful and drives EXCELLENT! It has a 350 with an automatic 350 tranny with a Lokar shifter. I typically build Muscle Cars and for that reason I do not know a ton about this car and I am sure I will leave something out or mess up something in this description. Please feel free to call me for any details or questions you might have. This car was completely restored 375 miles ago. the odo was reset at restoration. I have put just over half of the miles on this car and it drives great. Since purchasing this car I have gone through everything to insure that it all works properly. There is nothing worse than going for a cruise and having problems. I redirected a few wires just for load reasons, evacuated and recharged the A/C and added die just to insure no leaks. Tightened all suspension components and made a few minor alignment adjustments. I also added and electric fan module that turns the fan on as soon as the A/C compressor comes on (it makes the A/C blow colder by pulling air through the condenser. I added the Billet Specialties Valve Covers, Air Cleaner, Clamp Covers Etc... The car has air ride suspension in the front and standard dropped suspension in the rear. It rides on 18" wheels up front and 20" wheels in the rear. It has Corvette discs and calipers as well as a corvette manual brake master. The paint on this car is stunning! There are a few small blems but I think that is just because I am so picky. I have taken it to 2 different local shows and everyone compliments the paint. The interior is extremely clean and custom. Dual power seats, custom console, custom door panels, custom center console, Perfect dash and gauges, unreal custom carpet, it is truly a work of art. The trunk is upholstered to match. All windows work perfect! even the rears. The doors open and close excellent and the custom shaved trunk with remote trunk popper (located in the fuel door) opens and closes perfectly. All lights, blinkers, brakes etc.. work as they should. The only thing on this car that does not work perfect is the fuel sending unit. It worked perfect when I bought it. There was a small fuel leak and when I pulled the sender I must have damaged it. There are a million things that I could go on and on about this car but the pictures will speak for themselves and if you have any questions PLEASE CALL (602) 722-7574 As with ALL my auctions, this will be a no reserve auction because I hate trying to buy something not knowing what the hidden inflated reserve is. I will be starting this car WELL BELOW ITS VALUE. I do this to stimulate bids. If you are familiar with a car of this caliber then you are well aware of its worth and even more familiar with what it would cost to build a car like this. If you are in the market for a great resto mod custom and don't want to spend 100K+ then I guarantee you will not find a better one on the market! I have included a link that has over 200 pictures of this car. Unfortunately the photo bucket also includes pictures of another car of mine. I could not figure out how to separate them... sorry http://s40.photobucket.com/user/GLENN_COE/library/?sort=3&page=12 Just like any other car for sale... condition is a matter of opinion. This car is not perfect just like every other car on eBay. I give very honest descriptions and will go by far more into detail if you call me. I have built, bought and sold several cars and am very familiar with what is a nice car or what is a garage built project. THIS IS A GREAT CAR! My feedback is perfect on several high dollar car sales, so bid with confidence. You will not find a car closer to a full concourse show car for near this money. Items I would have addressed If I was able to keep the car. I would paint the under side of the hood body color.. (I have and will include the paint) The stereo screen blinks in and out at times ( I think it has to do with the backup camera) There are a few "dry spots" in the paint that I would have buffed out. Just looks like buffer got lazy or maybe some very minor solvent pops not sure.. VERY Minor I am just super picky and don't want to not tell you. There is a blemish about the size of a nickel in the trunk where the person who buffed the car apparently burnt it then cleared over it. Again.. Very Minor but it is there. Please call with any questions or feel free to come see this car, you will not be disappointed!! This car is being sold as-is with no warranty. I will be glad to help with any shipping company that you use. Glenn (602) 722-7574On Jan-06-15 at 14:38:56 PST, seller added the following information: I have had a few emails asking to end the auction early and sell the car, I will do that but only for the right price. This car is listed locally in Phoenix Arizona. With this said, I reserve the right to end this auction early to the Highest bidder or to an offer made either through eBay or the local listing. Thank you for your interest and bid with confidence. You will not find a nicer 57 for what I will sell this car for. Also, in the listing I mentioned a few blemishes. I have been asked why there are no picures of these and it is because they will not show up in the pictures. They are only visable in certain light and no photographable. They are not bad at all. This is an amazingly nice car for the money. Thank again...
