THIS IS A NO RESERVE AUCTION WE ARE OFFERING FOR SALE ON EBAY AND ON DISPLAY ON OUR LOT AT 311 WEST MAIN IN ENTERPRISE, OREGON 97828. OUR RETAIL ASKING PRICE FOR THIS CAR IS $1999.00. IT IS A 2 OWNER CAR THAT HAS ALWAYS BEEN IN LOSTINE, OREGON BY THE TWO FAMILIES THAT HAVE BEEN THE PREVIOUS OWNERS. WHILE IT HAS SOME COSMETIC ISSUES THAT WOULD NEED REPAIRED SUCH AS NEW SEAT UPHOLSTERY, CARPET AND A NEW DASH PAD FOR STARTERS, IT IS A VERY SOLID LITTLE CAR. IT STARTS VERY GOOD, THIS MORNING WE HAD 2 DEGREES ABOVE ZERO AND IT FIRED RIGHT UP! IT RUNS GOOD, THE TRANSMISSIONS SHIFTS GOOD IN ALL FOUR GEARS AND IT DRIVES OUT GOOD. THE TIRES ARE OLD AND NEED REPLACED DUE TO THEIR AGE. THE CAR HAD BEEN SITTING FOR THE LAST 3 TO 4 YEARS SO IT TOOK A LITTLE BIT TO GET IT UP AND RUNNING AGAIN BUT OUR MECHANICS WERE ALL IMPRESSED WITH THE WAY IT FIRED UP AND RAN. WE DID REBUILD THE CARB, REPLACED THE FUEL FILTER, CHANGED THE OIL AND INSTALLED NEW FRONT BRAKES AND FEEL THAT THIS LITTLE CAR WOULD MAKE FAIRLY DEPENDABLE TRANSPORTATION. JUST NEEDS THAT TLC APPLIED TO THE INTERIOR! WE PLAN ON GIVING THE CAR A GOOD POLISH AND IF THAT HAPPENS BEFORE THE END OF THE AUCTION WE WILL POST NEW EXTERIOR PICTURES. On Jan-05-15 at 12:39:04 PST, seller added the following information: We have added new pictures that show more of the cosmetic defects after having so many of you request them. The windshield has a big rock chip as shown in one of the pictures. The headliner is coming down on the drivers side just above your head and is tearing apart at the seam on the right rear as shown in the pictures. Also took pictures of the engine, engine compartment and the underside of the hood. The rear prop rods are bad as one person asked and there is no spare tire or wheel as the pictures of that area show. The rust is again just surface rust in the spare tire well. A picture of the drivers side door post is missing paint. We will still try to get a couple of pictures added of the underneath of the car but nothing is bad as far as rust concerns. Thanks!
