I am listing this vehicle for a friend of mine who does not have internet access. I will do my best to describe this car and list any known issues it has.2004 Kia Amanti V6Pearl White exterior with grey & woodgrain interior, 296K milesThe good: - Only 2 adult owners (this one bought it with 50K miles on it), - Runs like a top, drives smooth & comfortable. - Cold A/C. - Good tires and brakes. - 4 wheel disc brakes- Excellent body and paint. - Factory alarm system- 2 keys with 2 remote fobs- Recent smog inspection (passed easily).- KBB.com shows values from $2500 - $3300The bad: - The interior has some wear typical for a car of this age & mileage: The driver's seat has some wear and minor cracking, The top of the steering wheel is worn and both of the front arm rests are soiled & worn. - Once in a while the speedometer will drop to zero and then come back up to the correct reading. The mechanic is not sure if it's a bad speed sensor or not.- Once in a while it will stumble on light acceleration. The mechanic is not sure if it is a bad throttle position sensor or not.- In the morning when it's cold, the radio skips ahead like the "scan" button is stuck. Once it warms up, the radio works OK. - Could use some new shocks because the back bounces more than the front. - The "Air Bag" light has been on for some time; not sure why.- The owner is keeping his personalized license plates, so you will need to go to the DMV and get a new set issued. This car is also listed locally, so if it sells there first, I will remove this auction. On Dec-21-14 at 20:30:18 PST, seller added the following information: I have been driving this car for a week and I wanted to add 2 things that I noticed:(1) The engine leaks some oil (spots on my driveway)(2) The check engine light came on with P0421 code in memory (does not affect how the engine runs).
