1979 Chevrolet Monza 2 door wagon; V-6, Automatic, A/C, P/S, Bucket seats, console shifter. Two owner car; bought from the original owner who pampered the car.I bought the car with hail damage; repaired all damage and repainted the entire vehicle with a 5 year warranty paint service that begins when the car is purchased from me.The refinish is a nationwide warranty and guaranty this dry southwest car has never had rust damage of any kind. We sprayed GM bright white with base coat clear coat and sprayed the 1956 Nomad theme with Cadillac Lazer Red tri-coat.8 Ball Engineering air brushed the chrome look for the 56 Nomad trim.Tuned up with a new replacement dual port carburetor, new paint, new tires, net interior (l/f bucket seat and carpet) and new tinted windows.The vehicle is in very good condition, that I have driven several times on a 200 mile round trip to Clovis, NM, the vehicle is eager to go and cruises easily at 70 mph with great gas mileage.The car is tuned up, serviced (lube-oil-filters) and filled up with gas - just fly in and drive home.Items to make the car even nicer would be weatherstrip for liftgate, re-cover upper plastic trim along ceiling edge, stereo is older and may want to upgrade.The car is great as is and looks sporty as well as zippy in traffic.The car is old enough for Classic car clubs or street rodding.The Chevrolet Monza is a very popular car for swapping the engine to a V-8 conversion and have a cool street rod, Pro Street, Pro Tour, Show Car, Drag car, etc... I like the car the way it is - great for running errands and getting around in traffic and it looks good doing it.
