Hello, Welcome to my listing! **I have been contacted several times about payment. The only forms of payment accepted are cash and cashier checks. If you would like to use a cashier check it will have to be cashed (most likely same day as given depending on time of day) before the car is released** I am selling my 2008 Mitsubishi Eclipse SE V6. In 2008, the highest, most fully loaded Eclipse an individual could purchase was the SE V6 edition. This SE V6 package equipped the Eclipse with a high performance 3.8L V6 engine connected to a 5 speed shift-able sportronic automatic transmission. It also added leather Mitsubishi racing seats with built in seat warmers, an upgraded Rockford Fosgate sound system, an upgraded interior as well as an upgraded exterior from premium wheels and a mild body kit. From my history of owning and driving several different vehicles, specifically coupes and convertibles, (I grew up in a family who's hobby revolved around cars) I can say this Mitsubishi Eclipse has made the best daily driver I have ever driven. It has the comfort of a sedan during normal driving conditions while still being able to offer generous amounts of power and agility during more intense driving conditions. I am really surprised this generation of the Eclipse didn't gain as much popularity. The performance level of it is right on par with a 1999-2004 Ford Mustang GT! Not only does the car have great power, but it also is designed to handle better in wet and snow/ice conditions because it is front wheel drive. High performance + Better handling in adverse conditions + Highly equipped with every factory option = Great daily driver. The reason why I am selling my Eclipse is in order to produce enough money to finish my college degree and eventually start a business. I am motivated to sell the car however at the same time I need to make enough money to cover my costs for school and living. The car is valued at $11,400-$11,600 on KBB and Edmunds for a private party sale with the condition of the vehicle being in good shape (this appraised value is shown on a screenshot I took of the KBB report; it is listed above with the vehicle photos). I stick with KBB and Edmunds since they give a more realistic current market value. NADA is used more for dealers and banks and is not realistic for private party sales since they tend to over value. I do understand what the car is appraised at and what it is currently selling at in the market are two different things which is why I have set the reserve very low (remember best offer as well). I would like to make your decision of buying my vehicle as easy as possible. If you would like to have the car inspected by a mechanic you are more than welcome to. You can either have a mobile mechanic come look at the car or arrange an appointment with a shop within 5 miles of my home. There are no issues I am hiding. In 2009 the V6 models went from a single exhaust system to a dual exhaust system (this change was purely cosmetic). When Mitsubishi did this they moved the catalytic converter from the exhaust manifold further down on the exhaust system. In 2009 when they did this the eclipse already had high amount of aftermarket support. The newer 2009-2012 V6 eclipse were never given the same amount of support. If you are looking to do any modifications, a 2006-2008 Eclipse V6 is what you want. If this is of no concern then any year is a great car! No modifications have been done to this eclipse. I have a lot of knowledge in the car audio area since I have been an installer and worked in a high end car audio shop. I have used products such as Focal, Hertz, Arc Audio, Hybrid Audio, JBL, Denon, and many more in several different setups. I know very well the characteristics of a good sound system. The Eclipse with the Rockford Fosgate sound system is very impressive for a factory upgrade. It gives you access to change the different sound stage settings. What this means is you can get a more correct concert like environment in the Eclipse. The only other factory sound systems that I have seen which offer such flexibility are in higher end cars such as Lexus or Mercedes. The seats that come in the SE edition are simply awesome. They are very comfortable but still supportive like a street racing seat. They also have built in seat warmers! I would easily give them a 10/10.
