Up for sale is a 1973 Ford F100 Short bed. This truck is solid and straight with a mid to late 70s 302 and automatic transmission. Previous owner stated that the motor, carb, and transmission were rebuilt but I have no way to verify. Engine runs strong and transmission pulls and shifts great but carb needs idle adjustment, idles high. Parts that have been replaced since I have had it are the following: bench seat, door panels, hood latch, distributor, rotor, cap, oil pump, intake manifold and valve cover gasket, and a new 3 gauge bosch Cluster. Truck has minimal rust and is primed. The bottom of the drivers door is the worst spot but I have a replacement door that comes with the truck and the bed has a spot that needs rust repair. Truck has good brakes and 2 good tires the other 2 will need to be replaced and the speedometer does not seem to work. Parts that come with the truck are a door and side chrome molding for both sides. Side moldings are for a long bed but can be cut down. I have taken a lot of pics of the truck so hopefully no surprises. I have driven the truck multiple times around the neighborhood but not out on the main road. Oil pressure is good and temp is within range. Also, I have done a compression test & each cylinder is between 110 and 125 approx. Truck is located in Easley SC 29640 and I would suggest towing due to the tires and carb needing adjusting. The truck has a clear SC title with exempt mileage.
