Being re-listed...we got so close last run. A tech here at the dealership was looking into buying it for himself, but was unable to get the money up. He looked at it briefly and said it did not appear to be anything major and should be a simple fix. Either way I am listing it with the same wording as before. You decide. Either way, this is a deal and a half on an amazing car. Reserve is set way lower than last time as we need to move this ASAP. This is truly an amazing automobile, this 2004 Audi A8 L 4.2L Quattro is as good as it gets...full blown big luxury car with everything you could wish for and then some for economy car pricing!! The interior is HUGE with all the amenities and room that would embarrass my first apartment, no joke, this thing is gigantic!! The 4.2L 8 cylinder motor runs smooth, strong and motivates this beast like a nimble and small sports car. The famous Audi Quattro All Wheel Drive system will ensude a safe, sporty, and comfortable ride in ANY weather conditions. The tires and brakes have tons of life left and this vehicle will require nothing maintenance wise like that. This is a chance to own an all out luxury vehicle at a fraction of the cost. Full power everything, leather, heated front and back seats, navigation, moon roof, premium sound system, and TONS, TONS more!!! Now for the bad. Very few cosmetic concerns which are all shown in the pics...very easy and inexpensive to make this look 100%. Most of it would probably not be of any concern as they are not very noticeable . The only big concern is the cooling system. After an extended test run, it started to run hot on the gauge and once I got it back and parked it, some steam was coming from under the hood and there was a little coolant leak coming from under the car. When I popped the hood, there was some bubbling from the way back by the firewall...I do not believe it is the head gasket, it does not blow smoke, there is no water in the oil, the there is no exhaust smell in the cooling system. Someone suggested that it may be the heater core because we also noticed the windows fogging on the inside. It could be a minor issue, it could be a major issue. But after doing some research, I have found heater cores for under $300, and complete low mileage motors for under $2000. If you have some mechanical skills, you could have an amazing car for pennies on the dollar with zero issues what so ever. I try to disclose everything in my listings and feel free to ask anything at all. You can even have anyone you want come and check it out...Absolutely nothing is hidden or held back. Thank you. The only exceptions are to licensed dealers and even then I will need documentation sent over prior.
