12.00 1981 BMW R100 Café Racer Beautiful, strong running airhead café that is visually stunning as well. 1,000 CC engine has been gone thru with new top end, gaskets, seals, 40 mm carburetor rebuilds, cables, wiring and mechanicals inspected and repaired or replaced as needed. The frame, sub-frame, headlight ears, and swing arm have all been powder coated. New lower café style handlebars were added along with café style mirror. The gas tank, fenders and seat cowl have been repainted black with a single painted white pin stripe outline. The bike retains the unmistakable BMW vintage airhead look! New grips and Bridgestone BT45 Battlax tires, new fuel lines and filters, and new petcocks installed. The gas tank has the original liner. The 40 mm exhaust has new aftermarket peanut style mufflers, which provide a distinctive café sound. New plug wires and plugs. The turn signals and tail light assembly received the smaller face style LED treatment. New café style rearsets were installed. Koni shocks were added as well as a new AGM battery. A new “S” fairing with a smoke tinted windshield, adds to the overall look and style of this café with LED indicator lights installed in the upper headlight shell. The bike comes with a new Garmin GPS system. There are no mechanical issues and the bike runs and handles like it is supposed to. Actually, it is more responsive, with the new lower handlebars, the reinforced sub-frame and freshly tuned engine providing excellent performance.
