This car was a trade-in at a new Ford dealership in Baltimore. These little ZX2 coupes are great commuter cars. They share the Ford DOHC engine with the Focus and being such a small, aerodynamic car, they get great gas mileage and are easy to maneuver around the city. Even for a small car, it is decently roomy inside. I am 6ft tall and I don’t feel like I have to hunch over to drive. As you can see in the pictures, the green paint is faded all over. This is a common issue with the paint on these cars. The body is solid and straight. The alloy wheels look nice. The tires have good tread all around. The interior of the car is in average condition. The seats are comfortable. The carpets look good and there is a full set of factory floor mats in the trunk. The power mirrors adjust easily. The windows crank up and down easily. The factory stereo has good sound. The heater works well. This car has been smoked in in the past. This car drives like you’d expect for the mileage. The engine fires right up. The transmission shifts smoothly. The steering is straight and responsive. The suspension rides well. The brakes stop quickly. There are no check engine lights. These vehicles are mostly trade-ins from local new car dealerships and other dealers in the area. I buy and sell these vehicles "as-traded". They have not been serviced (unless otherwise specified), detailed, or fixed up for retail sale. I drive every one of my sale vehicles and write a thorough description including the good and bad of the vehicle. I try to accurately describe any mechanical issues to the best of my ability, but I am not a mechanic. Please understand that these are used vehicles. They are not perfect. They have the wear and tear associated with age and mileage.

Up for auction with NO RESERVE is a nice little coupe, a 2001 Ford Escort ZX2 with under 100k miles. This car was a trade-in at a new Ford dealership in Baltimore. These little ZX2 coupes are great commuter cars. They share the Ford DOHC engine with the Focus and being such a small, aerodynamic car, they get great gas mileage and are easy to maneuver around the city. Even for a small car, it is decently roomy inside. I am 6ft tall and I don’t feel like I have to hunch over to drive.
As you can see in the pictures, the green paint is faded all over. This is a common issue with the paint on these cars. The body is solid and straight. The alloy wheels look nice. The tires have good tread all around.
The interior of the car is in average condition. The seats are comfortable. The carpets look good and there is a full set of factory floor mats in the trunk. The power mirrors adjust easily. The windows crank up and down easily. The factory stereo has good sound. The heater works well. This car has been smoked in in the past.
This car drives like you’d expect for the mileage. The engine fires right up. The transmission shifts smoothly. The steering is straight and responsive. The suspension rides well. The brakes stop quickly. There are no check engine lights.

Winning Bidders:

Full payment is due within 7 day of the auction's end. The prefferred method is to bring cash in person to complete the sale. If you are unable to bring cash in person within seven days or will be having the vehicle shipped, we also accept Certified Checks, USPS Postal Money Orders, and wire transfer.
PayPal is not an accepted payment method. This includes Bill Me Later.
We cannot accept credit cards or personal checks.
Vehicles that are not picked up within 14 days of auction's end will be charged a $10/day storage fee, unless other arrangments are made.
Non-paying Bidders:
We take great pride in our work and are very serious about what we do. Likewise, we expect the people who bid on our auctions to be serious about honoring their bid. If you are the successful bidder for any of our auctions and do not pay for your vehicle within the specified time, an Unpiad Item case willbe opend with eBay. This can severely restirct yur ability to purchse from all eBay sellers. You will be charged a $249 re-listing fee. All unpaid fees will be handed over to a collection agency and pursued to the fullest extent of the law.
Fee and Tax Information: The only fee added by the seller is our $149 fee. This is used to isolate our fixed expenses such as eBay fees, transportation, processing, etc., and is not applied to any costs incurred by the purchaser.
The purchaser is responsible for any and all costs associated with transfer of ownership including, but not limited to: registration, sales tax, tags (including temp or in-transit tags), title transfer, inspection, and transportation expenses.
We are able to complete most tag, registration, and title work, as well as collect sales tax, for Pennsylvania residents.
For out-of-state buyer we can issue a 30-day temporary tag (aka In-Transit tag). The cost is $39 and the buyer must show a valid driver's license and current proof of insurance.
We offer a unique way of purchasing a vehicle. We sell vehicles to the public with No Reserve auction pricing. Most of the vehicles we sell are trade-ins at new car dealerships or high volume used dealerships in the area. We get a lot of interesting, unique vehicles and many that have minor flaws. We give every vehicle a thorough test drive and a visual inspection and describe what we see and feel to you in our descriptions. We try to provide as thorough and accurate a description as possible as well as including 40-60 photos. Understand however, that we are not professional mechanics and cannot predict the future.
There is additional risk in purchasing a vehicle this way versus buying a vehicle from a retail dealership that has been fully serviced and has a warranty. You will pay considerably less this way, but understand our vehicles are sold AS-IS and do not carry any kind of warranty.
