I have decided to relist this car due to many inquiries after the last auction did not hit the reserve. I have owned two of these cars in the past 30 years and never had the intent on selling either of them. I have never seen another 454/390hp Impala or Caprice listed for sale and I look weekly all over the web. This is one chance to own one of Chevrolets rarest drivetrain cars. I will not be relisting or offering this car for sale if it does not hit the reserve. The car is NOT for sale locally, nor will I end the auction early. ( I am always asked to do that and feel it is unfair to other buyers) All sales are final and pre-sale inspections are welcome. The car does need paint as shown in the pictures but is drivable just the way it is. I didn't wash it or detail the car at all. This is just the way it was pulled out of the garage. Chevrolet produced two 454 motors in their full size cars that year- the 454/345hp and the 454/390hp. 345 was the LS4 and the 390 was the LS5.
