Beautiful 1950 Chevrolet 3100 shortbed pickup , it had a $6000 burgundy paint job 3 years ago that was done off the frame , while the paint was being done the frame was powder coated black according to the previous owner . I just had the seat , door panels and headliner redone in a stock brown . New steering wheel and horn button . I just installed a custom oak bedwood kit with 5 coats of marine spar varnish , new polished stainless strips and hardware to keep it looking beautiful for many years to come . It runs and drives great with a 1958 truck full pressure 235 , just had new standard size main and rod bearings installed , new oil pump , new battery , new exhaust , new brake cables , rebuilt carb , new clutch . Painted and detailed nicely while the engine was out , not even 3 miles on it since all the work was done . New window channels just installed . Paint and bodywork still look very nice and get lots of compliments , it was done 3 years ago and up close you can see very minor wear here and there . People absolutely love the color and it usually draws a crowd !
