I am re-listing due to non payment, from Dealerx, J Tognetti, J Halik, preowneddluxe. 1988 BMW M6, 5 Speed Zinnoberrot Red with Natural (tan) leather interior. This car is such a pleasure to drive; I suspect you’ve done your homework if you’re considering owning an M6. The car is very well balanced with ample power. The car has been well maintained during its life. There are a few minor issues, which I’ll point out, but all and all the car looks and drives very well. I have installed 17” Style 42 wheels, with decent tires. There are a few issues I’ll note along with pictures, the air dam was cracked and repaired. I’ll list the maintenance I’ve performed during my ownership. The car is very reliable; these improvements are typical issues on the M6. Front Brake rotors and brake pads replaced along with a brake fluid flush. Rear pittman arms (aka dog bones) replaced. Front stabilizer links replaced. Rear Bilstein shocks (problematic self-leveling system replaced). Rear sub frame bushings replaced. Front control arm bushings replaced with 750i urethane bushings. New park plugs. Coolant system flushed. New drive belts. Transmission output shaft seal and shift shaft seal replaced. The air conditioning system blows cold; I have replaced the blower motor, expansion valve and converted the car to R134 freon.
