Vehicle Detail

I am selling my first car: a 1973 Volkswagen Karmann Ghia. I purchased the car nine years ago and have driven it very little in that time. It has been garage kept the whole time I owned it until two months ago, which is one of the reasons I am selling. It starts up every time, is mechanically sound and has a brand new carburetor and gas tank. It is a great car and I am sad to let it go, but I just do not have the time to give this car the lovin' it deserves. While I have had the car, I had it painted, overhauled the brake system to include a new master cylinder, overhauled the electrical system, had the seat reupholstered, replaced the the door panels, and installed a new carburetor and gas tank. Here is a brief list of the notable work that remains to be done on the car: replace interior carpets and head-rest upholstery, replace all weather stripping, and repair a few small areas (totaling perhaps 1/2 square-foot) where rust is beginning to come through the paint, fix odometer (only working intermittently), and replace glass for side-view mirror. I am standing by to answer any questions that any interested parties may have. Please do not hesitate to contact me with any questions. This is a great car and very rare now-a-days. A constant head-tuner and beautiful design. On Nov-20-14 at 14:14:53 PST, seller added the following information: I am selling my first car: a 1973 Volkswagen Karmann Ghia.
