Honda Hondamatic 750. First year of production. Excellent condition with 16,000 miles.No rust or oxidation. Fuel tank is rust free. New tires and battery. Unrestored original condition except the repaint. The exhaust is original but the previous owner painted the header black. The1976 Hondamatic was a single exhaust from the factory. 1977 and 1978 had a dual exhaust. This is the original exhaust. Most of them rusted and were replaced with aftermarket exhaust. This one is not rusty. Runs great and looks like new. The fuel tank was repainted and is perfect. Very early production Vin. #CB750A7000293. The serial number began CB750A-7000001. This motorcycle is almost FORTY years old. For its age it is in very good shape.It is not perfect. If you were to see it in person, you will see some components that are no longer new looking. Some nuts, washers and bolts are showing their age. The rubber around the rear brake lever shaft is deteriorating.I did replace a few bolts that were not very pretty. [ Handlebars, Rear Grab Rail ] The bike has been repainted. It is a first class job and is perfect. No imperfections. All the original stickers are still in good shape.[ Swing Arm, Chain Guard, Under Seat ] I think it would be hard to find a unmolested Hondamatic 750 in this condition.
