Vehicle Detail
Here is a fresh built 1973 Honda cb500 four. This was one ugly bike someone had choppered out with extended fork tubes and swapped out rear rim for smaller 16 inch, it was sad and done probably a few decades back. The bike was taken down to frame detabbed cleaned up and painted, the swingman has a 4 inch stretch and the forks were shortened internally 2 1/2 inches shorter than stock. 18" rear wheel fitted as well as many other mods which will be easier to list in a row below. Bikes original mileage is 20,405 and less than 100 since it has been put back together. It starts right up usually first kick or use electric start, clutch is great goes through gears smooth and is quick and handles very good. NO turn signals or horn although can easily be added. Also the motor is all original nothing other than some basic cleanup had good compression and it ran good at the time the bike was torn down so I left it alone. Clear Ohio title in hand. Please read full list and view vids. Then ask any questions you may have. Thanks for looking at this one of a kind machine.May be willing to deliver within a few hundred miles for a fee email me for a quote, otherwise buyer is responsible for pick up or shipping I will assist in loading. Please do not bid unless you intend to purchase, I have tried to sell a handful of bikes I built here on ebay some have worked out some have not people love the bikes but then get overwhelmed in the logistics of getting it to them after the purchase this has cost me time and money in the past. Reserve is very reasonable considering the amount of time parts and effort that went into this build it is meant to be ridden it is not built to be a garage queen none of my bikes are. If you would like you may submit buy it now offers and I will see if it will let me add one. Again thanks for looking! First I have never seen any oil or leaks under this bike while running or sitting, it is 41 years old and even tho I cleaned the engine up I did not get it perfect so yes it has some road grime and patina here and there but no known leaks drips etc... I included a photo from bottom of engine but I could not get the best quality picture. I am including a license plate mount (added pic) nothing fancy and simple, that mounts a plate horizontal off of the lower shock mount bolt, it can be used on left or right side or can be shortened and redrilled to mount tag vertically. There is a couple of dings on right side of tank they are not super visible I mentioned them in the description but have added a couple of pics of right side of tank to try and show them but I am no good with a camera and with or without flash I can't seem to really show them off, it really just depends on light and angle the silver does a pretty good job of hiding them. There is two small scratches in the right lower fork leg I added pic of them. The kickstand was shortened and rewelded to accommodate the drop in suspension from forks and ext swingarm. The paint job looks good but is not a expensive for show paint it is enamels and lacquers no clear coat no ppg nothing fancy but it does look good as you can see in pics. And the last thing I was asked about was shipping, yes I will deliver up to 250 miles from my location (43468) in my truck it will not be in an enclosed hauler but a open bed just so you are aware some people prefer enclosed some it doesn't matter and I will do this for 1.25 per mile. Again Thank you for your interest!
