1966 Chevrolet Caprice 396 4 Door Hardtop Very nice survivor car with just 65,087 original miles. Lost storage a couple of years ago but it was always stored inside before then. See pics for general condition. Believe it has original paint. The vinyl top has completely deteriorated since I took these pics about a year ago. The car is very complete. I have 2 sets of hubcaps for the car. Dog dish and original wire spokes. Has Turbo 400 trans. with column shift. 12 bolt rear. Dual spots (not working but real) am radio and newer dual exhaust. Car runs and drives nice but has a fuel leak in the fuel line under the car. Has Holley carb with aftermarket air cleaner. Needs new wiper switch, battery and maybe some other minor stuff. Very solid car with only minimal rust starting at the rear lower quarters. Trunk is solid but has surface rust. Some small minor dings and dents that are barely noticeable. I was going to do a big cubic inch turbocharged sleeper type restoration but other projects have taken priority. Would make a real nice family weekend cruise car or just a cool cruiser. The interior is in nice shape with only minor flaws. Combination of vinyl and cloth. Carpet is good. Windshield is cracked but the rest of the glass and trim is good. Could easily be a driver with just a couple of minor fixes.
