Vehicle Detail

This sale is for the BACK SEAT ONLY that came off a WWII TWN (Triumph Werkes Nuremberg) German built motorcycle. this is an extremely rare item just as rare as the bike itself. The seat is off a 1940 TWN model B125. I do not need the rear seat as the limitations on the bikes weight is 275lbs so adding another person on the back would not be a good idea since the German soldat of WWII was barely 124lbs compared to me at 180. So I am going to sell this piece of history to some lucky collector who may be missing the rear seat for their own bike. Look at pics carefully as they show the over all condition of the seat. It seems to be in very good shape with a little surface rust one would expect after some 70 years. It attaches to the bike by using the rear luggage rack and the screws to move the clamps work freely and it was easy to remove so I suspect it would be easy to put back on. I have never seen this particular rear seat ever offered on eBay or on any vintage motorcycle site since I have been collecting and reenacting WWII living history. I had a hard time finding parts for my bike and they are very costly. I even had to settle for a newer motor as a 125cc for a 1940 TWN was just impossible to find anywhere even in Europe. So if you want a great piece of history and something to complete your Restoration this is the seat you have been dreaming of.. good luck and I hope whoever buys it will put it to good use. I would post a picture of title booklet that the seat for sale came off of, but due to eBay policy on placing items with swastikas I will not be able to to do that; however this came off a bike assigned to a Hauptman P. Kaufman on 6 Juli 1940. A Doctor in the Wehrmacht of german army field hospital divison. The original title booklet shows appropriate Germany army stamps of approval authenticating the seat to used by the German Wehrmacht during WWII. NOTE this auction is for the SEAT ONLY! also be advised SHIPPING IS FREE to the CONUS lower 48 states sorry not for sale to other countries except England.... Look over pictures well for what you see is what you get nothing more nothing less...... Thanks OK for the next 24hra the price has been reduced to 70.00 with buy it now after 24hrs it will go back to 150 get it while the price is reduced and save 50% On Nov-15-14 at 20:24:07 PST, seller added the following information: IF the winning bid is over the 150.00 I will also send the rear foot pegs that were a universal type add on by the German Army all parts are there for attachment to any early motorcycle. I cant make out the name on the bottom part is in old style script and the rest in block letters. it looks like Lasser 0R6Mor ORGM?On Nov-16-14 at 21:19:53 PST, seller added the following information: NOTE: THE BIKE IS FOR REFERNCE ONLY AND NOT FOR SALE THANKS.. the seat came off the bike in the last picture....
