Vehicle Detail

This "Fastiva" as we call it is a 1993 model. I bought it with intent to soup up as a rally car. My new company takes all my time and energy so I'm selling it. This car came from Texas. Why is that important? Because we live in Wisconsin and there are virtually no Festivas left up here. The winter salt eats them apart. This car has minor surface rust but is in great condition otherwise with no visible rusted out areas anywhere! Here are a few items we replaced in the past year or two:Tires, wheel bearings (inner and outer), brakes, exhaust, head gasket, radiator, steering rack, temp sensor, fuel injector o-rings.There might be a few more things but its a simple car and easy to work on. I sold these cars when they were new and always wanted one. Now I realize this one is too nice to sit next to our garage, and if I start driving it in the winter it will rust away like all the others. I love this car and hope you enjoy it as we have. They are a riot to drive!! The car gets AWESOME mileage. My daughter and I recorded 42 mpg on a recent trip. The car has a custom leather wrapped steering wheel. The large TACH will be removed before the car sells. Seats have slip on covers and the rear seat has typical stains and wear. What is bad about the car?I have the stock 12" diameter rims so tires must be ordered on eBay (they are cheap though). The car has a custom exhaust and is a bit loudThe brakes have a bit of pulsing but I have new discs so I think its from sitting almost a year The car is most comfortable screaming from stop light to stop light and is not a great car for 7 hour long trips (although we've done it).The car says 126,000 miles on odometer but actually has LESS THAN 95,000 ACTUAL MILES. We had to replace the speedo and could not find a car with less miles than ours had. The car has many small dents courtesy of the previous owner. If you want a mint car this is not for you! It runs, stops, turns, and gets plenty of "thumbs up" waves when you drive it. I have had many local offers to purchase and reserve the right to end the auction anytime. It is not perfect, but the body is incredibly corrosion free for the age of the car. If you have no feedback I will not accept your big unless you contact us first. We had plenty of bad experiences bidders who don't pay. Please make a reasonable offer if you wish. We don't need to sell the car and inappropriate low offers will not be answered. Best of luck bidding. We will miss her and hope she goes to a good home :(
