Vehicle Detail

This is a very clean, driver-quality, matching-numbers 1969 Porsche 911T. I have owned the car since 2008 (previous owner was from California's Central Coast) and believe the car to be from that area originally due to a receipt found beneath the seat. The car is currently located in Atlanta. It's a great driving car with solid throttle response, a smooth shifting transmission, precise steering and - as we early 911 enthusiasts like to say - the doors ping shut.Exterior: Bahia/Guards Red (originally – Bahama Yellow), strong, older respray lifting - but not flaking - in 2 places (see pics); orange bar hood crestInterior: Black vinyl; newer, high-quality carpets/seat covers (originally – Black leather); upgraded inertia reel seat belts; aftermarket 1980s Blaupunkt tape deck with 2 door and 2 rear shelf speakers; clean, non-stock black headlinerEngine: Matching numbers, 2.0L, flat-six; recent engine compartment detail, fresh Weber carburetor rebuild (Sept. 2014), new Valeo alternator, rebuilt starter, powder-coated engine shrouding and alternator fan/housing, sonically cleaned and pressure-tested oil cooler and tank, new oil return tubes, new flywheel/pulley seals, new engine mounts, SSI heat exchangers, fresh zinc/cadmium plated hardware; strong leak-downTransmission: Matching numbers, 5-speed, new WEVO transmission mount bushingsClutch: New throw-out bearing, arm and bushing; 75% clutch lining remainsWheels/Brakes: Reproduction Fuchs, freshly bled brakesChassis: Solid, older floorpan repairs; needs battery box/suspension pan repairs to be considered fully sorted; cleaned/flushed/painted gas tankSuspension: Turbo tie-rod endsFactory Options: Leather interior (now vinyl), tinted windows (front, side, rear), bumperettes (front/rear; front now gone), Pirelli tires, 5-speed transmission, vented chrome wheels, 'ignition system'Modifications: 1974 side mirrors (for increased usability vs. 1969 units, non-1969 seats, SC door panels/rear upholstery, Bursch exhaust (sounds great combined with the Weber rainshield air filters); non-factory air conditioner removed but interior fan kept for additional cabin ventilation (compressor/brackets included in sale)This is a ridiculously satisfying car to drive, work on, wash, look at, etc. Hoping it'll find a nice home!
