Please read the description below and decide if this is the right bike for you*** 1968 Triumph TR6R 650CC Done up to loosely resemble a 1966 east coast TT Special #s matching, current and clear title in my name Odometer reads 9686 miles but this will increase, miles are likely not actual. Boyer ignition, single Mikuni carb, Tympanium regulator, external Trident style oil filter with replaceable element, repro TT exhaust with removable baffles. Larger counter shaft sprocket for highway running Prior owner was a Brit bike guy and rebuilt the engine from the sludge trap up Runs great, starts in 1-2 kicks as long as you follow the drill and all mechanicals work as they should. Nice vintage look saddlebags with brackets Things worth noting: There is a crack in the paint on the right side of the gas tank and the rear fender (see photos) Needle on the ammeter has given up the ghost recently (charging system still works perfectly) It threw a chain in the past and the case was repaired (see photo) Rear wheel is missing a spoke and has a ding in it (see photo of ding). This does not effect the ride. This is not a pristine, restored bike but is far from junk. It has the not uncommon small drip from the primary and minor oil weep on the left side of the base gasket and head gasket after a good go. This bike is a good rider caliber and not a garage queen. It can be enjoyed as is or can be taken to the next level. It has taken home a couple trophies at local shows in it's current state. This is a well sorted motorcycle and with the 3000+ miles I have put on it has never let me down, it cruises great and gets compliments wherever it goes. Bike is located 1.5 hrs. north of Milwaukee WI and is for sale as is, where is. I have described the condition of this bike honestly but since it is a 46 year old motorcycle no warranty is expressed or implied. Bike is for sale locally and I reserve the right to end auction due to local sale. Buyer to make all shipping arrangements. I will not crate the bike up, deliver it or meet you half way.
