This is a great little classic. I just spent $1000 on all new breaks, engine adjustments, hoses and a new catalytic converter. It has smog certificate and it's ready to go. The title was salvaged long time ago due to vandalizing the convertible top and stealing the computer and stereo. It's never been in an accident and there is absolutely no rust on or under the car. The paint is old and dull. Everything on the car works just fine. If you want a VW with straight and correct body that runs great, I would definitely recommend it. It drives so well and there is no engine leaks. The doors, the hood and the engine cover opens and closes correctly. The under-carriage is in perfect condition with no damage and no rust. The back-seats are in great shape. The front seat are not. It has an expensive satellite radio. The convertible top is without any damage. The tires are in good shape with plenty of treads. take it across the country and it will just keep going. I have set the reserve very low, because I just want to sell it.
