Hello Fellow Ebayers, Up for sale I have a clean, other than the front end that is, BMW 323i sedan in the E46 body style. I am selling the car for my brother who was the one who thought that it would be fun to run through a stop sign going about 25MPH and T-bone a SUV. This car has been in our family for about 3 years now and has been a fantastic car for us, its very reliable, sporty and fun to drive, and gets decent fuel economy around 21 in the city and 29 highway. Car was salvaged by insurance, besides the damage this car has been well taken care of. The previous owner took care of it and took a lot of pride in the car as well. The car was also in a previous accident were it got hit on the Right side wheel which I repaired and replaced with OEM BMW parts. I own a Auto Body Repair Shop on the south end of Holland. Being busy with a lot of other customer projects, I do not have the time to devote to repairing this BMW. It is not to bad of a hit. I'm am completely honest with my customers and I want you to know what your bidding on and getting into with this project. -The car has a buckle on the right side frame rail. This can easily be repaired by a frame shop and pulled back to spec so the front end will fit right -Right upper frame rail is slightly bent in but can be pulled out -The Left lower frame rail is undamaged and the upper frame is undamaged I would expect about a $500 frame bill to get the car pulled out in my experience with other cars. Then it will need: -Air Bag Light -Airbags did not deploy but there is a light on -Hood -RH Fender -RH Headlight -Front Bumper Cover -Radiator/Condenser -Radiator Support, Which is a bolt on part unlike others that are welded in. That's what it would take to fix it, There are also other possibility's. This could be used as a parts car for the engine or body parts. Then engine still runs and drives perfect along with the trans. It will still drive just not far as the radiator is not holding coolant. According to car-part dot com (which is a salvage parts website) The average BMW engine selling price is $2000.00 and a trans value of $750.00 So there is $2750.00 in engine and trans value alone. ENGINE and DRIVE-TRAIN -130,000 miles -2.5 Litre Inline 6 cylinder Engine M54TU Engine Which is a solid BMW engine, Very reliable. Ive owned a few BMW's and I've been impressed with this engine and these engines will far exceed 200K miles with proper maintenance and care. -4 Speed Automatic Transmission -Oil always changed at 5,000 miles with Mobil 1 Synthetic Oil -Installed a new thermostat last year by Euro Tech are local Indy european auto repair shop and have receipts -Replaced the Pulleys and Serpentine belt -Tune up last year. -Brakes are still good 50% or better -Tires are at about 6/32 so 40% and are Goodyear Run Flat Tires BODY -Steel blue Metallic paint -Xenon Headlights -One is broken the LH is still useable -Fog Lamps -Minor rust on LH rear quarter panel -Minor rust just starting on LH door bottoms. but not on the RH side -Minor dings and scratches but above average for a 16 year old car MPG 21 CITY 28 HIGHWAY INTERIOR -Car has the premium Gray Dakota Leather Seating and Paneling in the door -Power front seats with Lumbar -Memory Drivers seat which saves two drivers seating and mirror preferences. -Heated Seats with three different heats low medium and high heats. -Premium Harmon and Kardon Sound System -Power Mirrors -Digital Heater controls with automatic heating control -Leather wrapped Steering wheel cruise control options and radio options on the other side of the wheel VALUATION: According to KBB They value with car with all the options at $3,500.00 in good condition My reserve and minimum price I want this to be fair for me and the buyer So I'm setting my price at $1,400.00 I find this to be a fair price. As I mentioned previously the engine and transmission are worth $2,750.00 OTHER - Car is located in beautiful Holland Michigan which is on Michigan's lower west coast by Lake Michigan. - I deal with a lot of auto shippers and can get you a quote on getting the car shipped to your location for a reasonable rate.
