This is one you will have a hard time finding two of. A Land Rover Defender 90 'SUT' (Sport Utility Truck), as I am listing it, there is not another one like it on Ebay and I have not seen one this complete, this clean and this nicely documented in a VERY long time. It has great original lower mileage and it comes with all import documents, tons of receipts including the newer engine, all keys, floor mats and not only a brand new set of Cooper Discoverer A/T tires on newer alloy Land Rover wheels, but the ORIGINAL wheels with the full set of the Lassa LT/A M+S tires and a brand new spare. These originals, I have been told, are worth more than the newer ugraded ones that are on the vehicle. Other upgrades include the diamond plate aluminium bed linings and exterior accents, a Mantec 'snorkel' style intake, an upgraded leather interior, modular head liner, newer leather wrapped steering wheel, 'flip' style key, anti theft system, battery cut-off and a JVC custom audio system with AM/FM/CD and aux input (for iPod or Android devices). It also has a galvanized frame and as you can see from the undercarriage photos, this one is cleaner than most you will ever see, no major rust or corrosion issues anywhere on this Defender.
The body is all intact, of course, this is a 'Utility' vehicle so there are a few imperfections, nothing that takes away from the cool looks of it. Glass is in good shape and it has the heated front windshield, unable to test in the 90 degree AZ desert heat but it all looks intact. Tires are as new with hardly any miles on them, the originals are in good shape as they are not all dry rotted, they were stored indoors and while they show some wear, they do have nice tread depth remaining. The newer alloy wheels have a bed-mounted spare that is in great shape, the original Lassa's have a brand new, never mounted spare (no 5th wheel included). Glass is all clean and clear, no tinting, lights and lenses are intact and in good working order.
The interior is very clean as well, does not have any tobacco odors either. Seats have been upgraded to a nice, comfortable soft leather with a nice armrest including center console for storage. It is fairly simple but does have good gauges and a decent CD deck, the rear glass slides open. (There is also a 'new in box' wiring set for a the tow package for your trailer lights, it is in the photos with the receipts and other paperwork).
Power is delivered with a hearty, newer 300TDi that starts right up and delivers great power for this smaller truck. I had this thing going 75 miles an hour down the freeway effortlessly, it drives fantastic and it holds the road perfectly with no shimmy or shake, tracks true and straight as well. Clutch and gearbox feel proper too. It's a real pleasure to drive and even more fun to be seen in, it garners alot of curiousity and positive attention.
I have priced this one quite fairly compared to the 'less-worthy' examples I have seen and of course, this Defender is priced quite cheap considering it's 'SUV' counterparts can sell for upwards of $50 grand.
