Serious bidders only FOR SALE NO RESERVE. For sale is my 1979 F250 project. Truck was being disassembled for restoration when the trailer holding alot of the parts was stolen. This is not a complete turn key truck as it sits but its a great project for a restoration or a parts truck that I just don't have the time or space for. Motor was a 429 out of a 1970 thunderbird that had been rebuilt to a 468. 2Y crank, block bored .030 over, forged pistons, aggressive cam (forget the specs), D0VE-C heads, MSD 6A igniton, distributor, and coil. Truck has L&L big block conversion kit plus underdrive pulleys and brand new L&L nickelshield plated fenderwell headers ($700), new ford racing aluminum water pump, new Holley 4160 750cfm carb, new holley air cleaner assembly with K&N filter, new weiand stealth intake manifold, nice holley aluminum valve covers. The motor alone has almost $5000 invested into it. Motor ran when parked a few years ago but truck can not be started as it currently sits. Rebuilt C6 transmission has less than 1500 miles on it Brand new 3 core aluminum radiator ($400) uninstalled and included with truck along with new B&M trans cooler ($90), new Holley blue series electric fuel pump and regulator ($135), new poly body mounts ($50), 2 new Borla xr-1 mufflers ($250) Original wiring harness has been removed and new uninstalled American Autowire classic re-wire kit ($600) is included with sale. New 19gal plastic gas tank and new straps have been installed. New sending unit included with sale. Interior of the truck is gutted. Dashboard has been removed for wire harness installation and is included with sale, Steering column was not removed just unbolted. No bench seat included, Some small rust holes on floor pans. Truck has 4'' lift with but no shocks are included. Frame is rock solid with zero rot. Front fenders are in great shape. New bedsides were installed but were only in primer so some light surface rust has started but not a big deal at all. D44 front axle D60 rear with 3.54 gears. New brake lines began to be installed but weren't finished. Truck needs a good home and someone to complete it. It will be a monster on the road Contact with any questions you might have.
