1954 Mercury Monterey two door hard top. The Good: Recently rebuilt FE 390 GT Engine with only about 450 miles on it. Heads ported, tons of horse power. New Edelbrock 750 cfm carburetor. Converted from points to electronic ignition. Recently rebuilt C6 Transmission. Frame sand blasted and repainted. New Gauges. Power brakes with disk conversion in front to stop all that horse power. New Interior seats, carpet, door panels. Solid Body. New heater core. Good tires The things that should be improved: Recent paint is bad, it has orange peel and should be redone. Radiator should be bigger. Its fine when your cruising, but gets warm when your stopped. The drivers side wing window is cracked. Some of the Chrome is pitted. Various small dents and dings that come with age. There are two small holes in the headliner. This is a running/driving project, which has been driven regularly this summer.
