Vehicle Detail

I have a 1978 Jeep CJ7 Renegade up for auction. The Jeep has a good running 304 V8 engine that holds good oil pressure, even when its warm. It has a recent service with oil, filter and all fluids checked and filled if needed. It does not leak or rattle, but will smoke a little light blue smoke when you first start it for a few seconds then clears up. I guess the valve seals are going bad, but may clear up if the Jeep is driven on a regular basis. It hasn't been driven much in the last year, less than 1500 miles. The Jeep has a smooth shifting automatic transmission that does not leak and works as it should. The 4-wheel drive works good, but the vacuum hoses for the quadra-trac are starting to crack and dry-rot some. The vacuum hoses will need replacing sooner than later, but they do work now and are all hooked up as they should be with the switch in the glove box to actuate the transfer case. It has the quadra-trac 4-wheel drive and the low range shift lever near the drivers seat in the floor board that works good. The front hubs have been replaced with Warn manual locking hubs. I put a new fuel pump, water pump, new set of fenderwell headers and side pipes on a month or so back. It has a new battery and spring eye bushings also. It runs good and sounds good with the side pipes. The transmission is a 3-speed automatic that shifts good and doesn't leak either. The only leak I have found is the power steering. The Jeep sat in the garage for about a week without being moved and it had a place about the size of a 50 cent piece that looked to have came from the power steering sector itself. Its not leaking bad, but it is a small leak and the only one I have found on the Jeep. The Jeep has new paint with some metal patch panels welded in and some body filler in places to get the body ready. It has a new hood, windshield to cowl weatherstripping, tailgate weatherstripping, side marker lights, antenna and some other small parts that were replaced when the paint job was done. The driver and passenger floor pans were replaced with factory Jeep style pans. It has a couple of small patches where there were pin holes behind the seats. The Jeep has about a 2" lift. It has a really good set of 32X11.50x15 mud terrain type tires with 80% tread mounted on 15x10 aluminum wheels. The frame on this Jeep is really solid with no rust thru at all and no welded up patches at all. The frame was pressure washed, cleaned and painted with semi-gloss frame paint with rust inhibitor. The Jeep has disc brakes that work as they should and power steering also with new belts. I only have the bikini top for the Jeep. The passenger seat has a small tear in it also (see pics). The heater core is not hooked up and I don't know if it is good or not. The speedometer, oil pressure, amps and fuel gauge work. The temperature gauge does not work. This Jeep runs good, looks good, drives and stops good also. All the seat belts are in the Jeep. The V8 automatics are getting harder to find, especially with good frames and in good running order. This is not a fully restored Jeep, but a very good driver quality Jeep. Look at the pics and ask any questions you have. I check my email daily and will respond promptly. I can help with shipping within 100 miles of 24055 and I have a local shipper that will deliver anywhere in the US and is very reasonable. I can put the winning bidder in contact and /or get a quote for you. Thanks for looking and good luck bidding. On Oct-31-14 at 09:38:15 PDT, seller added the following information: I have a new set of windshield wipers, black floor mats and 8" Hella off road lights that go with the Jeep. I also have another windshield that is included. The windshield in it now has a crack on the passenger side.
