1966 Cobra Replica This Cobra is being sold as a replica. This is an excellent way to purchase a Cobra. Car is black with white stripes. The paint is very nice and is at home at a car show, cruise night or on the track. The car has a few very minor scratches and one rock chip on the nose. I do not know, but I believe the car was built 10-12 years ago. By brother purchased it off eBay about 8 years ago and I got it from him. I don't know the history past our ownership. The interior is simple and clean as seen in the pictures. Some Cobra replicas have a strange look to them. The wheel openings look exactly as they should as well as the position and angle of the windshield. I often times see strange proportions with regards to those two things. Motor is a small block Chevy, 406cid. It has aluminum Brodix heads, Pro Comp intake, Edelbrock 600cfm carb. Not sure on the compression but runs on 91 octane. Some details on the car: Antique and Collectables (A&C) body and frame Ford 9 inch rear end (unsure what gear, I think 3.00) 4 wheel disc brakes Alden adjustable coilovers Near New tires (800 miles) front- 235/60/15, rear- 295/50/15 Cobra Style Wheels from Edelbrock with replicate of original knock offs Tilt column B&M pro shifter SW gauges Side Pipe exhaust, HPC coated Aluminum Radiator with electric fan The Car is titled as a 1966 Ford Cobra. One concern with the car is that when it is hot it cranks slow. With the battery in the back of the car I think the battery cables used are too small for that amount of distance. The car starts good so it has not been a problem but I just wanted to make you aware. The car is very fun to drive, handles amazing, plenty of power, even with such a tall gear.
