1956 Nash Metropolitan convertible project car. Recently acquired from an estate sale. This is a great candidate for restoration or fix a few things and go cruising. The car is original Caribbean green over white with black and white interior in very good shape. All in all this is a solid little car. There is some rust in the front floor pans as indicated in the photos, but all four fenderwells and the rockers are solid and rust free.There are some dings and scrapes. Doors open and close as they should and gaps are good. Windows work fine. At one time it took a hit to the spare tire on the back. The damage was not bad but the amateur repair job needs to be redone. You can see the seams on top of both sides of the rear fenders are straight. The color match in that area - doesn't. It had been in storage for a long time but the engine should run with little work. The windshield has a crack but is flat glass. Needs new tail light lenses and rings...easy to find. It does have the original jack and top boot. The convertible top frame is in good shape but it needs a top. Overall a great little car well worth the effort to restore. Georgia does not issue titles on cars older than 1984. I had to choose the clear title option since you can't delete the title description box on the form. Car is sold as is where is. A $1000 deposit through paypal is due immediately after auction end and the balance due within 7 days. Car will not be released until funds have been cleared.
