First off; this is not a "Barn find" that has been a mouse motel for the past 20 years. This automobile has been lovingly cared for and is ready for the next owner. I purchased it several years ago for my wife. As a result of recent medical events, she can no longer drive. I have placed a low reserve price to encourage bidding, so bid away!. With the original aluminum hubcaps, it is ready for the museum display, take them off and the "old school" chromies and moons fit right in at the car shows. The interior is near perfect. The rear package tray has some sun damage that I have covered with material and the front arm rests have a few hairline cracks. The carpets and dash are all original and show virtually no wear. This was a fully optioned car built in the Chicago plant for a Ford VP (see the Michigan insurance card). It is the rare Blue body with white Vinyl top (both have been redone). I have included a pic of the build sheet. The original 400 cid motor has a 600 cfm Edelbrock 4 barrel carb, performance camshaft, new lifters, true roller timing chain & sprocket set that can be remotely set, MSD Ignition & coil, distributor, wires, plugs set to .50 gap. dual exhaust. new oil pump, fuel pump. Battery. Air conditioning converted to R134a with new hoses and compressor (with receipts). Estimated horsepower is now 350+, with improved mileage over the original 2 barrel heavily constricted smog motor. chassis has been gone through with new shocks, tires, etc. New Front and Back Bumpers and guards, all lenses and exterior trim pieces that showed any wear have been replaced. It has the steering wheel horn rim option along with the glove box trunk release, automatic climate control, automatic parking brake release, remote left & right mirrors, rear defroster, 8track am/fm, under hood and trunk lighting, corner clearance lights, pedestal parking lights, locking spare tire option, special high-back split bucket front seating, tilt wheel, passenger side assist that moves the seat full forward for rear seat entry. One nice feature of the LTD Brougham is that with the wide entry door, tilt wheel and the split bucket seats, it can accomodate a very large person. I am 6'2" 250# and feel small in it yet a normal size person fits comfortably with the power seat. Unlike my other cars, I have enjoyed not having to go through DEQ, or deal with "Check Engine Light" "Oxygen Sensor" etc. There isn't a part on the car that costs any where near what those items cost to diagnose and fix.
