1969 Ford Galaxie XL GT Convertible. I bought this car from a gentleman that had it for 15-20 years in his garage. Due to health problems, he decided to sell it. Unfortunately, I also need to now sell the car after having much work done to restore the car back to a higher standard. The car has new pearl white base/clear paint that is extremely nice. GT striping and hood scoop have also been added to the car for styling. New wheels and tires (17"&18") with less than 200 miles on them. New white power top with new glass rear window. New carpet was added in the trunk along with new weatherstripping rubber. The interior is all original with little wear or fading. The 390 V8 runs perfect. Has a new rebuilt carb. New tune-up. New water pump. To my knowledge, the motor has never been touched or messed with and still wears the original paint. Runs cool, shifts smooth, and rides like a "Cadillac". New dual exhaust was installed before I bought the car and is in very good condition. The car has power disc brakes front, drum in rear. Car stops great. Headlight doors open and close properly. Has rear air shocks that can be adjusted to your liking. Driver/Passenger doors open and close smoothly and do NOT sag when opened(bushings/hinges are tight). Floorboards and sheet metal are solid with no rust. In my opinion, this car needs nothing and is a wonderful cruiser. Very nice, reliable automobile! CLEAR TITLE IN MY NAME!
