Vehicle Detail

This is my 67 GT that I was going to restore because its solid and clean. However I can only keep 1 Fastback and decide to keep my 66 Gt. This one has original panels besides the driver qtr. Factory power Disc Brakes and steering. I installed new redone front seats with foam, new Carpet new Dash Pad New Brushed Aluminum dash inserts and New kick panels, Nice wood GT steering wheel Also new true Duals all the way back. The only weak area on the car was the driver side floor, the rear rails and front rails are solid and rust free along with the inners, cant stress how nice they are! This was a Washington state car that went to Tenn. and then to wis in 86 where it mainly was driven a few times a summer! There is also a dent in the rear tail panel where you see the paint missing. I'm not a body guy but I did install a new pan over the old one and tried to cut out the rusty part. Not perfect but definitely strong. Then I P.O.R 15 the entire floors. It will need paint in the future or drive as is. The gas gauge doesn't work but I did put a new one in it so it must be the sending unit. It will need some tlc on a couple small things because its not a perfect car.The biggest thing it will need is a clutch, it thru a spring and caused it to be out of balance so it has a vibration at higher Rpm's "This will need to be done asap". The trans is original with the vin stamped on it. The 302 is a 1980 that has been Bored and pumped up a quite a bit It's very healthy! It also has a ford 9'' with 3.73 gears with Posi traction, has No problem putting you back in your seat. I had the driveshaft re-tubed and new U-joint's also "before I figured out it was the clutch causing the vibration". All the glass is good and the tires have plenty of tread. The power steering pump is froze up but everything is there and factory. Please ask any questions before bidding. As is where is. I also have the right to end the auction early. I HAVE THE MARTI REPORT THAT SHOWS ITS A REAL GT I CAN EMAIL IT TO YOU.AND ANY PICTURES YOU MIGHT NEED. WHERE YOU SEE THE RUST ON THE DRIVER FLOOR IS THE AREA I PATCHED WITH A CORRECT FLOOR AND TACKED IT IN AND SEELED IT. Also I do still drive it almost everyday. I just don't push it to hard often because of the vibration in the clutch.
