I personally road test each vehicle before it is offered for sale so I can give you my first hand opinion of how it runs and drives. Please keep in mind that I am not a mechanic. Each vehicle is represented accurately and honestly to the best of my knowledge and ability. Please take the time to read this entire description as well as our Terms & Conditions carefully BEFORE asking questions or placing a bid. An administrative fee of $149 will be added to the final bid of each auction. Up for a NO RESERVE auction today is a 1990 Mercedes-Benz 560SEL finished in very desirable black on black. This was the flagship model for Mercedes-Benz through the 80's and into the early 90's until it was replaced by the W140 chassis. Anyone who knows me knows that I am a big Mercedes fan. In my opinion, these are the most well designed and well built automobiles available...and this specific Mercedes-Benz is a perfect example of what happens when a well built vehicle is properly maintainted. This 560SEL comes to us as a NEW LEXUS TRADE. I would rate the exterior of this Mercedes to be in ABOVE AVERAGE CONDITION for a vehicle of this age and mileage. As you can see, this is a great looking sedan. The black finish shows some minor fade on the upper facing panels (which is common with age) but presents well, otherwise. There is a very small dent at the rear of the left rear fender. The chrome also shows well for its age. The body cladding is all intact and shows well. The glass and lenses are all intact. The alloys show well and are wrapped in a matching set of Michelins with good tread all around. I did not see any rust on the body of this Mercedes-Benz. These cars are getting hard to find in this condition. Please take your time and review each of the photos carefully. I would rate the interior of this 560 to also be in ABOVE AVERAGE CONDITION for the age and mileage of this vehicle. As you can see, the interior shows very well. The door cards are clean and tight. The carpets show well throughout the interior and a full set of Mercedes-Benz floor mats are included. The dash is clean and shows well. The wood vaneers also show well for their age. The black leather seats are fairly rare and show exceptionally well. All of the seats are soft, supple and show virtually no wear. Additionally, this is a fairly well optioned 560. All four seats are heated. It has the optional reclining rear seat, too...which still works properly. The power windows and seats work properly. The sunroof will need adjusted. The rear deck is in pristine condition and indicates that this Mercedes probably spent most of her life in a garage. The trunk is spacious and clean. The climate control system is fully automatic and appears to be working properly. The air conditioner will need charged or serviced as it does not blow cold air. The original Becker radio does not respond and will need replaced...which is normal. Mechanically, this Mercedes 560 appears to be in good running and driving condition. The big V8 runs well but does not like to cold start and does run a little rough when cold. It's kind of common with these when they get older and is probably in need of a standard tune up. Once warm, she runs well and makes good power and will restart easily. I did not see any leaks and the engine does not smoke. The front end and steering feel good for the age and mileage. The suspension feels unusually tight considering the miles. The brakes stop this sedan with no issues. The check engine light is on but will most likely go away with a tune up, given the cold start issue. The engine keeps perfect temperature and oil pressure. Out on the highway, she makes plenty of power and cruises nice and straight with absolutely no complaints...you can take your hand off the wheel at 70. The automatic transmission engages smoothly and shifts properly, too. I've driven this Mercedes a few times and I am reminded why I loved these cars in the first place. They feel solid and confident on the road. Nothing beats the sound of a Mercedes door closing...nobody builds cars like that anymore (not even Mercedes). This car comes from a time when a Mercedes-Benz was built to a standard, not a price point. Buying your next vehicle through one of my NO RESERVE auctions is the best way to take the games out of your next automotive purcahse. I personally road test each vehicle before it is offered for sale so I can give you my first hand opinion of how it runs and drives. Please keep in mind that I am not a mechanic. Each vehicle is represented accurately and honestly to the best of my knowledge and ability. Please take the time to read this entire description as well as our Terms & Conditions carefully BEFORE asking questions or placing a bid. An administrative fee of $149 will be added to the final bid of each auction.
Up for a NO RESERVE auction today is a 1990 Mercedes-Benz 560SEL finished in very desirable black on black. This was the flagship model for Mercedes-Benz through the 80's and into the early 90's until it was replaced by the W140 chassis. Anyone who knows me knows that I am a big Mercedes fan. In my opinion, these are the most well designed and well built automobiles available...and this specific Mercedes-Benz is a perfect example of what happens when a well built vehicle is properly maintainted. This 560SEL comes to us as a NEW LEXUS TRADE. I would rate the exterior of this Mercedes to be in ABOVE AVERAGE CONDITION for a vehicle of this age and mileage. As you can see, this is a great looking sedan. The black finish shows some minor fade on the upper facing panels (which is common with age) but presents well, otherwise. There is a very small dent at the rear of the left rear fender. The chrome also shows well for its age. The body cladding is all intact and shows well. The glass and lenses are all intact. The alloys show well and are wrapped in a matching set of Michelins with good tread all around. I did not see any rust on the body of this Mercedes-Benz. These cars are getting hard to find in this condition. Please take your time and review each of the photos carefully.
I would rate the interior of this 560 to also be in ABOVE AVERAGE CONDITION for the age and mileage of this vehicle. As you can see, the interior shows very well. The door cards are clean and tight. The carpets show well throughout the interior and a full set of Mercedes-Benz floor mats are included. The dash is clean and shows well. The wood vaneers also show well for their age. The black leather seats are fairly rare and show exceptionally well. All of the seats are soft, supple and show virtually no wear. Additionally, this is a fairly well optioned 560. All four seats are heated. It has the optional reclining rear seat, too...which still works properly. The power windows and seats work properly. The sunroof will need adjusted. The rear deck is in pristine condition and indicates that this Mercedes probably spent most of her life in a garage. The trunk is spacious and clean. The climate control system is fully automatic and appears to be working properly. The air conditioner will need charged or serviced as it does not blow cold air. The original Becker radio does not respond and will need replaced...which is normal.
Mechanically, this Mercedes 560 appears to be in good running and driving condition. The big V8 runs well but does not like to cold start and does run a little rough when cold. It's kind of common with these when they get older and is probably in need of a standard tune up. Once warm, she runs well and makes good power and will restart easily. I did not see any leaks and the engine does not smoke. The front end and steering feel good for the age and mileage. The suspension feels unusually tight considering the miles. The brakes stop this sedan with no issues. The check engine light is on but will most likely go away with a tune up, given the cold start issue. The engine keeps perfect temperature and oil pressure. Out on the highway, she makes plenty of power and cruises nice and straight with absolutely no complaints...you can take your hand off the wheel at 70. The automatic transmission engages smoothly and shifts properly, too. I've driven this Mercedes a few times and I am reminded why I loved these cars in the first place. They feel solid and confident on the road. Nothing beats the sound of a Mercedes door closing...nobody builds cars like that anymore (not even Mercedes). This car comes from a time when a Mercedes-Benz was built to a standard, not a price point. Thanks for looking and good luck bidding.

Winning Bidders:
Winning bidders are required to contact us via eBay Message within 48 hours of auction close and make arrangements for payment and vehicle pick-up. Please do not leave a voicemail on the office phone.
Full payment is due within 7 day of the auction's end. The prefferred method is to bring cash in person to complete the sale. If you are unable to bring cash in person within seven days or will be having the vehicle shipped, we also accept Certified Checks, USPS Postal Money Orders, and wire transfer.
PayPal is not an accepted payment method. This includes Bill Me Later.
We cannot accept credit cards or personal checks.
Vehicles that are not picked up within 14 days of auction's end will be charged a $10/day storage fee, unless other arrangments are made.
Non-paying Bidders:
We take great pride in our work and are very serious about what we do. Likewise, we expect the people who bid on our auctions to be serious about honoring their bid. If you are the successful bidder for any of our auctions and do not pay for your vehicle within the specified time, an Unpiad Item case willbe opend with eBay. This can severely restirct yur ability to purchse from all eBay sellers. You will be charged a $249 re-listing fee. All unpaid fees will be handed over to a collection agency and pursued to the fullest extent of the law.
Fee and Tax Information: The only fee added by the seller is our $149 fee. This is used to isolate our fixed expenses such as eBay fees, transportation, processing, etc., and is not applied to any costs incurred by the purchaser.
The purchaser is responsible for any and all costs associated with transfer of ownership including, but not limited to: registration, sales tax, tags (including temp or in-transit tags), title transfer, inspection, and transportation expenses.
We are able to complete most tag, registration, and title work, as well as collect sales tax, for Pennsylvania residents.
For out-of-state buyer we can issue a 30-day temporary tag (aka In-Transit tag). The cost is $39 and the buyer must show a valid driver's license and current proof of insurance.

There is additional risk in purchasing a vehicle this way versus buying a vehicle from a retail dealership that has been fully serviced and has a warranty. You will pay considerably less this way, but understand our vehicles are sold AS-IS and do not carry any kind of warranty.
